The Softline company completed the project of the organization of centralized operation by infrastructure on the basis of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2012 in INVENT Group.
Start
INVENT Group felt urgent need for instruments of remote administration of workstations.
To participation in the project invited Softline company which specialists offered the organization of centralized operation by IT assets with means of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2012.
Solution
For control of workstations in infrastructure of holding the implementation project of System Center Configuration Manager 2012 is implemented.
Using the SCCM 2012 server inventory of the equipment and the software is carried out. Then on the server unrolled roles: a point of distribution of updates for centralized operation by updates of servers and workstations, a point of distribution of software and images of OS. In the course of implementation advanced functionality of management of the user stations from the SCCM console was configured; for the centralized administration two images of the operating system for workstations – x32 and x64 are created. Implementation of centralized operation by IT assets allowed to optimize many times labor costs and to increase efficiency of IT department of the customer.
