"Nova" creates a system for control of transport of the company

The Omnicomm-Service company announced on March 17, 2013 end of the complex project of creation corporate transport monitoring systems on the basis of satellite technologies GLONASS/GPS in construction company "Nova".

For March 17, 2013 several tens of units of special equipment and lorries - fuel-servicing trucks, dump trucks, truck tractors with the semi-trailer tank are connected to the Omnicomm system.

In the beginning there was a project

In 2012 Nova company began an implementation project of a modern system of satellite monitoring of transport for the purpose of transfer of a management system for transport to objective data. On set of technical and utilization properties the monitoring system of transport and control of fuel consumption of Omnicomm is selected.

Result

Use of the Omnicomm system allowed to plan flexibly use of transport, to visually control its location and movements, to precisely count a run, to automatically create various reports and also it is easy to elicit the facts of additions of a run, inappropriate use of transport and other abuses. As a result, system implementation of monitoring of transport led to considerable reducing costs of fuel and lubricants and optimization of work of vehicle fleet of the company.
