Launch of Powerful 1C platform

On December 1, 2020, it became known that Cloud Computing was launching a specialized technological platform Powerful 1C to accommodate loaded 1C: Enterprise 8 software systems that require increased stable performance from the IT infrastructure.

This technology platform is a failover cluster based on processors Intel a clock frequency of 4,5GHz. The configurations of the nodes are selected in such a way as to guarantee high performance of 1C:Enterprise 8 program system. The inspection was carried out using the "Gilev test." As a result, on different configurations, indicators from "42" for 1C to SQL and from "85" for 1C on file were obtained. DBMS The indicators are recorded in the service level agreement () SLA and for their violation the responsibility of the Cloud Library to the client is provided.

Both all system components can be located on the platform: a terminal desktop with a client program, a 1C: Enterprise 8 application server and a database server, and only individual components. For example, a virtual machine with a database can be located on the CloudLibrary technological platform, designed specifically for optimal DBMS operation, and a terminal server on a standard platform, which will give significant savings.

The technology platform will be of interest to any users of 1C:Enterprise 8 program system: organizations with insufficient performance in their own data center or at the current provider, as well as partners - IT market professionals serving 1C:Enterprise 8 program systems for their customers. For the latter, the Cloud Library has a developed partner program, which, among other things, makes it possible to delegate non-core service tasks to other partners.

It is far from always possible to provide the necessary 1C performance on cloud platforms, especially for loaded systems with a large number of users and significant arrays of accumulated data, - says Maxim Zakharenko, CEO of Oblakotek, - while our tariffs are not uncompromising. Initially, we set ourselves the task of squeezing out maximum performance for a reasonable amount of money. And, in our opinion, we managed to achieve this indicator and make it balanced.

IaaS service on the Windows Server 2016 platform

In December, the Cloud Computing announced the service "Virtual Infrastructure on Windows Server 2016" - an IaaS service organized on the latest virtualization platform Microsoft Windows Server 2016 and providing the ability to ensure the security and performance of virtual resources.

The Windows Server 2016 platform has innovations that have affected both the virtualization platform and guest virtual machines. First of all, this is Shielded VMs technology, which for the first time provides reliable protection for virtual machine data, including from provider administrators. Container technology will make it much more convenient to manage the lifecycle of software for developers. Template systems and Nano Server make it possible to significantly save resources by placing many VM roles on a minimum number of resources. In addition, there is a built-in network balancer and the ability to change the size of memory, disks and processor power without rebooting, as well as many other innovations that are now available as part of the Virtual Infrastructure on Windows Server 2016 service.

"Virtual Infrastructure on Windows Server 2016" operates on the basis of high-performance Lenovo server equipment and Mellanox network equipment, which have been specially tested and prepared for use in conjunction with the Windows Server 2016 platform. To ensure high performance, a site is deployed on a hyperconverged environment with Full Flash storage based on Storage Space Direct technology, which allows for minimal disk latency. The service is managed through the Windows Azure Pack interface, which has much in common with the Microsoft Azure management portal interface.

Cloud services platform can be branded and hosted on your own domain

The Cloud Computing provided in March 2016 a new version of the automation platform, which gives partners the opportunity to create an interface for managing cloud services for their customers on their own domain name and in their own corporate style. This allows partners to enter the cloud business with minimal investment, offer cloud services under their own brand, maintain and develop relationships with customers.

To meet the needs of customers, both traditional and cloud tools must be in the arsenal of IT market professionals. Deploying your own services is expensive and troublesome, and transferring customers to third-party providers is not always comfortable due to fear of customer loss. The Cloud Computing solved this problem by expanding the functionality of the service control panel.

With the new options, CloudLibrary partners have advanced interface customization capabilities. Now the partner can change the appearance of the business platform: set his logo, edit style, fonts and colors. An additional advantage is the ability to configure your own domain name in the control panel address. Thus, end clients gain access to the branded functional platform precisely through the partner's domain name. Also, CloudLibrary partners received a tool for configuring various notification systems, including SMS alerts.

Cloud library launched a service for selecting a cloud solution provider

The Cloud Computing library has launched a unique catalog of cloud partners, where customers can easily and conveniently choose the right provider of the necessary cloud solution for themselves or get advice on the application of clouds in business.

The Cloud Computing provides an IaaS platform for hosting client IT infrastructures in the cloud, but does not specialize in guest operating systems and applications, transferring the management and administration role to its partners. The catalog presents companies that are able to deploy and integrate various cloud services, and can also organize hybrid solutions (office-cloud), that is, carry out a guaranteed successful placement of client IT resources in the clouds. For small organizations with no IT staff, the partner can implement and continue to provide full support for the client's cloud IT infrastructure.

Key customer catalog capabilities include finding a cloud solution provider partner for specialization, used cloud platform (Cloud Computing or Microsoft Azure) and geography, and the ability to contact the selected partner or leave a CloudLibrary application to select a task partner.

The catalog provides cloud partners with the opportunity to receive a direct request from a potential client, that is, it acts as a sales channel. The position of the partner in the list issued to the client depends on the "weight" of the partner, which is determined by the number of his clients, the presence of published cases and co-marketing with the Cloud Library. In addition, partners can find each other to engage in cooperation in order to solve part of the tasks of customer service.

Cloud Computing Launches Comvault-Based Cloud Backup Service

In the summer of 2014, the Cloud Computing library provided its customers with a new service - backup as a service (Backup-as-a-service, BaaS) (CVBackup), which allows you to organize backup of data from the client's local infrastructure to the cloud and independently ensure its storage and online recovery if necessary. The service is based on the CommVault Simpana solution

Data-to-cloud backup is a progressive storage method that has been proliferating in recent years. Using clouds for backup is storing information on remote servers that are serviced by specialized providers, and not on a separate hard drive or a dedicated local server. The problem for many SMB companies is the widespread lack of backup as a system. And it is this problem that the Cloud Computing proposes to solve using the service - BaaS (CVBackup).

BaaS (CVBackup) is a solution that allows you to regularly back up any type of data from endpoints from any point in the IT infrastructure to a backup cloud site in the CloudLibrary with the possibility of full or partial recovery and not worry about the safety of your data.

It is based on the enterprise-level solution Comvault Simpana, which makes the backup flexible, that is, it makes it possible to independently select the data to be backed up and configure the depth of storage of backups. Efficiency is achieved through the use of various methods of traffic compression and backup placement, while maintaining ease of configuration and ease of management, recovery efficiency. All this, combined with affordable price and pay-as-you-go, can significantly reduce the cost of creating, storing, and restoring data.

The advantages of placing backups in the cloud are obvious - this is a minimum of one-time costs, payment only for actually consumed resources, guaranteed high quality of service, convenience and ease of management.

This service is aimed both at SMB enterprises as the main backup system and for large companies, as an additional remote backup.

Infortrend SSD-based DSS

On February 4, 2014, Cloud Computing announced the inclusion in all tariff plans for the deployment of cloud IT infrastructures of the possibility of using fault-tolerant SSD storage.

The cloud direction is gaining popularity - the Russian cloud market for services for small and medium-sized businesses grew by 32% in 2013 and reached $633 million[1]. However, the use of SSDs is either not found in all cloud Russian providers, or we are talking about providing local SSDs without fault tolerance.

Cloud Computing solved a complex optimization problem DSS of this type and now in all tariff plans for the deployment of cloud IT infrastructures there is the possibility of using full-fledged fault-tolerant SSD storage based on. DSS Infortrend

DSS Infortrend

The Cloud Computing offers affordable server SSDs in RAID10 connected to nodes using SAS technology.

When developing the service, the company took into account various specifics of the SSD. For example, SSDs in RAID are introduced at different times. The Cloud Computing conducted a test that showed a 10x increase in I/O speed compared to standard storage.

Cloud Computing launched the service "Dr.Web Anti-Virus"

In December 2014, Cloud Computing introduced the Dr.Web AV-Desk Internet service, on the basis of which it offers its customers and partners a new service - "Dr.Web Antivirus."

Dr.Web Antivirus is a set of information protection services for individuals or companies against Internet threats at an affordable price. "As a service" mode means that it is enough to install a small agent program and all the functionality of antivirus protection on a computer, server in the office or virtual machine in the Cloud Library, timely updates, reports will be available automatically. External management of the service provider is a guarantee of unbiased analysis and increased reliability of the enterprise's IT infrastructure.

As part of the service, clients of the CloudLibrary integration cloud platform can choose one of three tariff packages that allow using antivirus on a monthly subscription basis: Dr.Web Classic (basic protection) and Dr.Web Premium (comprehensive protection), as well as Dr.Web Premium Server - protection of Windows Server operating systems. These packages are available to both general users and business organizations.

"The introduction of the Dr.Web Antivirus service was very quick for us and made it possible to immediately start providing the service to end users," comments Oksana Novitskaya, Development Director of Cloud Computing. "Our customers have already appreciated the ease of installation and the convenience of updating Dr.Web, as well as the ability to choose different protection options."

Dr.Web Anti-Virus service is available only to CloudLibrary clients running on the Microsoft Windows platform. In the future, it is planned to expand this offer for users of other operating systems.

2013

In March 2013, Cloud Computing introduced the first version of the automation and self-service system for the Virtual Infrastructure service. With the introduction of automation, IT professionals can manage and configure their cloud IT infrastructures as if they were in their own data center without contacting CloudLibrary Technical Support.

The Virtual Infrastructure service is designed to host IT infrastructures (private clouds) of enterprises. Its users are IT specialists of clients and partners, so it is not individual virtual machines, but a set of virtual resources from which you can configure and configure your own private cloud.

The most important function of the self-service system is the ability to allocate resources as flexibly as possible between virtual servers at any time. All current parameters are displayed in the GUI, where you can see how many resources are provided, how many are added, how many are added, and which virtual servers are used.

Virtual machine management provides basic startup, shutdown, and reboot functions, as well as access to the virtual server console and to manage Microsoft System Center VMM tools. In addition, within the client cloud, it is possible to independently create a virtual network of almost any complexity. Users can specify network settings to automatically configure new virtual machines. For convenience, a tool for recording already used IP addresses is available.

When installing the operating system, it is possible to use ready-made templates (the Cloud Computing has its own database of images of demanded software) or download its own distributions, for this the user is provided with a special disk space included in each tariff plan. The unique system of "fitting" the tariff plan (preliminary use of other tariff plans for comparison) helps to determine the benefit of switching to a new tariff in comparison with the use of addons (paid extensions of an existing tariff plan). The user can independently change the tariff plan, both for more and for less resource. The transition occurs automatically, and all previously made settings are saved.

A special section is devoted to financial and contractual relations, where separate access for accounting can be provided.
