The Ford company selected a System from Russia SCOUT for control of transport at the plant of Vsevolozhsk by means of modules SCOUT, the press service of SCOUT company reported on June 6, 2013.
Background
For increase in profitability the management of car maker decided to introduce a control system of operation of the container, loading and harvest equipment of the plant that, first of all - to lower inefficient articles of consumption of fuels and lubricants, to exclude cases of falsification of the fulfilled engine hours given by quantity.
The plant's management made the decision to equip vehicle fleet of loaders, tractors and tractors with the Monitoring system SCOUT.
Modules
At the end of 2012 modules of monitoring MT-600 and the fuel level sensors (FLS) equip main types of special equipment at the plant: 3 container auto-loaders, 4 tractors MAZ, 4 Belarus tractors. Unrolled several dispatcher stations with the software SCOUT Explorer.
Result
Result of system implementation SCOUT - reduction of fuel consumption twice. After implementation of technology exact data on time of gas stations and drainings became available to the management. With their help the budget on transportation costs was succeeded to save the companies twice and to completely exclude plunder cases of fuel and lubricants.
