Lanit will fight for the right "kill" own EDMS in "MUEC"

Within a year "MUEC" is going to implement an automated system of office-work, document flow and work with citizens' appeals based on OpenText software. The company announced competition on accomplishment of these works with the maximum price about 105 million rubles at the beginning of October, 2013.

As it appears from the project documentation, a system should automate such processes as preparation, registration, approval, accounting, execution control, write-off in business and document storage. Treat like those the entering and outgoing correspondence, orders, orders, minutes of meetings and also office correspondence.

Among requirements to a system - the centralized architecture and an opportunity for users to provide access to it both through a local network, and on the Internet.

At the time of purchase execution in the company the solution on automation of office work processes based on software of LanDocs developed Lanity works. According to "MUEC", regular users of this solution are more than 5.4 thousand specialists of the company, and over 3.5 thousand more workers receive tasks from this system in the MS Outlook mail.

"Due to implementation in JSC MOEK of applied software packages based on a SAP software the decision to transfer office work processes from LanDocs software on OpenText software with ensuring technical capability of further integration with SAP was made", - note in "MUEC".

Implemented the solution based on LanDocs "Lanit" in "MUEC" by the beginning of 2007. Several months later after its input in commercial operation in a system about 2 thousand users from whom about 880 users had full-function access to a system worked, and the others - obtained document information means of e-mail.

Concerning the future in "MUEC" of the project in Lanita told TAdviser that their company "follows the rule not to discuss the choice of the customer". At the same time Lanit is going to take part in the stated tender, "because locates all necessary competences", her representatives add.

The products OpenText are present at a line of the ECM solutions offered Lanity since 2010 when the partnership agreement with this company was signed. Then noted Lanit that implementation of the certified solutions for the SAP platform is a perspective subject.

The OpenText developer is a strategic partner of SAP and has a number of the products created especially for integration into applications of this vendor in the line. Among them – the solutions Archiving for SAP Solutions and Data Archiving for SAP Solutions intended for the archiving and data storage unloaded from modules of SAP, Extended ECM for SAP Solutions allowing to integrate the modules ERP and ECM of systems, and others.

In August, 2013 OpenText announced expansion of support of technologies of SAP due to adding of support of the SAP HANA platform and also cloud and mobile solutions of the company.
