Servoservice summed up the results of system implementation of control of transport

On October 28, 2013 the company Omnicomm announced project completion of system implementation of control of transport on GLONASSGPS Omnicomm Profi the platform / company "SBS-RUS" in the company of international transport Servoservice.

Project Tasks

According to requirements of the Russian legislation, all vehicles transporting dangerous loads should be equipped with a monitoring system on a basis GLONASS/GPS.

The Servoservice company has a negative experience of use of a monitoring system: the equipment of one of the Russian producers worked unreliably, determination of location of machines happened to big delays, and data transmission on foreign GSM networks, at the time of finding of cars abroad, caused growth of expenses on communication services. As a result, the company management made the decision on replacement of a monitoring system.

Main requirements to a new system: a possibility of control of movement of transport of the company in real time, including, and abroad the Russian Federation, prevention of deviations from corporate rules of transportation of goods (observance of a route task, fixing of the authorized and not authorized stops and parking of vehicles online) and also control of fuel consumption and prevention of its plunders.

Project Progress

Omnicomm LLS fuel level sensors and onboard Omnicomm Profi terminals are installed on all cars of Servoservice company. Before equipment of vehicle fleet of the company pilot system implementation by two machines performing flights to Germany and Finland is carried out.

Project Results

On July 22, 2015 the company Omnicomm announced project deliverables of system implementation of control of transport on the platform GLONASS/GPS.

Complete return of investments stepped on purchase and installation of the solution of monitoring and control of fuel consumption of Omnicomm Online in three months of operation of a control system. The customer achieved considerable economic results: monthly economy on diesel fuel reached 20% that allowed to reduce the biggest item of expenditure of the enterprise.

Control over vehicles 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days in a year is organized.
