2014
Omnicomm Profi 2.0
On March 17, 2014 it became known of a release of the new version of the onboard Omnicomm Profi terminal of Omnicomm company.
Terminals of the Omnicomm Profi 2.0 series received anti-vandal execution and are intended for monitoring of transport operating in critically severe conditions.
Universal inputs with operation modes are added to the terminal "pulse" and "frequency", digital RS-485 No. 2 interface is replaced with RS-232, the feature for the SIM-Chip installation is added. At mounted on the SIM-Chip printed circuit board and the installed SIM card, Profi 2.0 can use both channels. The device has the back-up battery of a power supply, the selected inputs for connection of signals of the ignition key, the disturbing button, the call key GSM and a tach of the engine.
Omnicomm released the security terminal with Wi-Fi
The Omnicomm company (Omnikomm) expanded a line with the navigation terminal with a possibility of data transmission on Wi-fi networks – Omnicomm Profi 2.0 Wi-Fi. Earlier in a product line of Omnicomm the terminal transferring information by means of Wi-Fi of networks was provided. But the new navigation terminal profitable differs from the predecessor - there was a built-in battery and support of the CAN bus, the quantity of universal inputs with 1 to 6 and the number of events in archive to 150,000 is increased and also other opportunities of the equipment allowing to rise to it in one row with the most multifunction terminals in the market are implemented.
The Omnicomm Profi terminal 2.0 Wi-Fi is intended for work in the conditions of lack of a covering of GSM networks and provides accumulation and storage of telematic data in own non-volatile memory with the subsequent transfer them in a cloud service of Omnicomm Online or on the server of a corporate system of monitoring on means of Wi-fi of networks. The device is intended for work in the conditions of high vibration, dust content and also a temperature difference from - 40C to + 85C, has the protected body and the strengthened construction.
The terminal is focused, first of all, on transport and the equipment of the mining companies working at the remote platforms in the conditions of Far North and in lack of a covering by cellular transmission networks.
Monitoring systems of Omnicomm are recognized an official measuring instrument in Uzbekistan
Certificates on navigation and telematic terminals Omnicomm Profi and Omnicomm Optim, issued by Federal Agency for Technical Regulation of Metrology of the Russian Federation, are recognized by relevant organs of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Certificate No. 02.6170 on recognition of a statement of type of measuring instruments is issued by the Uzbek agency of standardization, metrology and certification on November 28, 2014.
The received certificate certifies that according to the Agreement on mutual adoption of results of the state tests and the statement of type of measuring instruments, onboard Omnicomm Profi and Omnicomm Optim terminals are allowed to application in the Republic of Uzbekistan and are registered in the register of a state system for ensuring the uniformity of measurements.
Now and in the territory of Uzbekistan the data obtained by means of Omnicomm monitoring systems have legal force and can be used in disputes over questions of regulation of fuel consumption and also to serve as the proof at investigation of the criminal cases connected with plunder of fuel and lubricants.
Not only onboard terminals, but Omnicomm fuel level sensors are certified as measuring instruments in Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus and are the only devices in the market of satellite navigation entered to the state registry of measuring instruments of these states that confirms high reliability and accuracy of the data provided by them.
