Omnicomm Optim-/terminal GLONASSGPS .
General description
Omnicomm Optim - the onboard terminal of new generation is suitable for the majority of cases of application in which from the equipment specific functions and characteristics are not required. At the terminal there are all main solutions providing reliability of these devices. The functionality of Omnicomm Optim is not limited to determination of coordinates.
Advantages
Omnicomm Optim conforms to requirements of the Order of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation No. 285 regarding requirements to an aircraft equipment for monitoring of the vehicles of category M used for commercial transportations of passengers.
Omnicomm Optim is entered to the state registry of measuring instruments of the Russian Federation and can be applied to measurements of the current navigation parameters, determination on their basis of legally significant values of coordinates and speed of the equipped vehicle.
Main Characteristics
- 32-channel GLONASS/GPS receiver.
- Data transmission through GPRS.
- A power supply from 12 or a 24-volt vehicle network. Protection against the increased tension up to 60 volts, high-voltage noises, giving of tension of the return polarity.

Omnicomm Optim 2.0
On March 17, 2014 it became known of a release of the new version of devices of the Omnicomm Optim 2.0 series.
Terminals of this model are focused on use in the sparing operating conditions, however, in need of monitoring of a broad spectrum of parameters.
Terminals of this series are equipped with 4 universal inputs selected with inputs for connection of signals of the ignition key, the disturbing button, the call key GSM and a tach of the engine. In addition, 2 digital RS-232 interfaces for connection of the additional hardware, an input of the microphone and a linear exit of a system of a voice communication are added to the Optim 2.0 series.
The device supports the Micro SD cards with a capacity up to 32 GB for storage of the backup copy of a data archive, pictures (at the connected and appropriately configured camera). The device has 2 slots for installation of SIM cards, installation of SIM-Chip on a terminal payment is allowed.
The device has the built-in back-up battery and differs low, in comparison with the Profi model, cost, compact dimensions and small weight. The number of at the same time supported Omnicomm LLS fuel level sensors in devices of the Optim 2.0 series is increased up to 6 pieces.
Omnicomm is an official measuring instrument in Uzbekistan
Certificates on navigation and telematic terminals Omnicomm Profi and Omnicomm Optim, issued by Federal Agency for Technical Regulation of Metrology of the Russian Federation, are recognized by relevant organs of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Certificate No. 02.6170 on recognition of a statement of type of measuring instruments is issued by the Uzbek agency of standardization, metrology and certification on November 28, 2014.
The received certificate certifies that according to the Agreement on mutual adoption of results of the state tests and the statement of type of measuring instruments, onboard Omnicomm Profi and Omnicomm Optim terminals are allowed to application in the Republic of Uzbekistan and are registered in the register of a state system for ensuring the uniformity of measurements.
Now and in the territory of Uzbekistan the data obtained by means of Omnicomm monitoring systems have legal force and can be used in disputes over questions of regulation of fuel consumption and also to serve as the proof at investigation of the criminal cases connected with plunder of fuel and lubricants.
Not only onboard terminals, but Omnicomm fuel level sensors are certified as measuring instruments in Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus and are the only devices in the market of satellite navigation entered to the state registry of measuring instruments of these states that confirms high reliability and accuracy of the data provided by them.
