VOCORD FaceControl is the system of noncooperative identification of the person on the person

Control and access control

For ensuring access control on the regime and especially protected objects happens insufficiently normal ACS on the basis of proximity-cards. The functionality of the VOCORD FaceControl system allows to count the number of visitors and to define their gender and age that, in turn, gives the chance to define popularity of this or that department of shop among different age and gender groupes.

VOCORD FaceControl makes "white" and "black" lists of visitors thanks to what the staff of shop can learn about emergence in shop of the VIP client or on the contrary at any time – the unwanted visitor.

The principle of system operation of VOCORD FaceControl in the conditions of retail is simple and convenient: on an input in outlet the specialized cameras VOCORD NetCam4 which in the automatic mode select are mounted, photograph and save all new faces of visitors of shop. Let's emphasize that these cameras effectively work even at insufficient lighting and bad weather conditions.

Joint about the SAP solution for video identification of visitors

On September 13, 2018 the Vokord company reported that it together with SAP SE developed the solution for video identification of visitors of the Center of digital leadership of SAP by means of specialized cameras and the system of face recognition VOCORD FaceControl and a cloud platform of SAP Cloud Platform.

According to the company, the solution of Vokord is based on the concept "the person as ID" using an algorithm of recognition and identification of visitors on the person, including sex determination, age and even an emotional status. The VOCORD Face Control system collects statistics about visitors of the platform, including the history of visits for each of guests. A system for video recognition and the analysis of visitors of the Center of digital leadership of SAP is integrated with a cloud platform of SAP Cloud Platform which has necessary services for the analysis of the arrived Big Data and their representation in a convenient format. Among functions of a system there is an automated registration of visitors without participation of employees, determination of the time spent of the guest in the Center, calculation of unique visitors during the day, map development of activity of guests in different zones and around different stands with the innovation scenarios (heatmap). Also a system will estimate the number of people in halls and meeting rooms and even to send cautions to the staff of SAP or visitors of actions who drank too many coffee during the day.

As it was reported, SAP and Vocord are going to continue development of a system for needs of the Center of digital leadership of SAP and for the Russian market in general.

Integration with a response system and ISTIMA-RTLS positioning

The biometric system of face recognition Vocord FaceControl of Vokord company received additional functionality of the remote notification of security services via mobile devices. The present possibility is implemented by means of integration with a response system and positioning of ISTIMA-RTLS developed by ISTA Systems company reported on April 24, 2018 in Vocord.

On the basis of Android SDK Vocord "ISTA Systems" developed the application for mobile and single-component devices on the Android platform, having integrated a response system and positioning of ISTIMA-RTLS and the system of remote biometric face recognition Vocord FaceControl. The created solution allows to transmit the disturbing notifications and management signals to the staff of GBR (rapid response teams) arriving from the system of video identification of persons and other systems of video analytics (the left objects, pass to a forbidden band, etc.). By transfer of notifications the location of staff of GBR is considered that reduces time of their arrival. When the camera mounted on an object recognizes a human face, being in "black list", to the security guard who is most closer to the place of an event, the disturbing message comes. The place of detection and a route is displayed on the building plan or the territory.

The location of security service specialists decides by means of wearable terminals on Wi-Fi- to access points, Bluetooth- to indicators (BLE ibeacon), or outside the premises on use GPS/ GLONASS- positioning.

Our joint solution represents the tool integrating in itself functionality of video analytics, reaction and positioning that is important for security of difficult objects — emphasized in ISTA Systems company.

Importance of integration of remote face recognition of Vocord FaceControl with a response system and positioning of ISTIMA-RTLS is that we removed "binding" to attendant workstation, and there is no more need to reside in front of the monitor. Vocord and ISD: the solution for face recognition in payment and throughput terminals

In September, 2017 Vocord and ISD (the Russian developer of payment gating systems) provided the integrated access control system based on use of face recognition in payment gating systems. The product is intended for large sporting and entertaining venues – stadiums, ski centers and aquaparks.

The joint solution of the companies of Vocord and ISD expands functionality of the check and booking systems with a possibility of biometric identification on persons. This solution when holding large sporting events is most demanded. At sale of tickets in cash points the person of each buyer is automatically photographed – the base of visitors of a match forms. In case of purchase through mobile or the web application remote identification using "selfie" is implemented.

Thus, on stadium the one who purchased the ticket will be allowed. Transfer of the ticket to other person and pass under counterfeited tickets is excluded. A system will not pass fans to whom access to stadium is prohibited. The base of persons can be also used for the analysis of behavior of fans in the stands and investigations of incidents.

Integration of face recognition into payment gating systems is a new technology of the market of similar services which is implemented thanks to cooperation of the companies of Vocord and ISD. The ISD company since 1996 specializes in IT projects for objects of the sports, entertaining, industrial industries and also public administration. Is engaged in implementation of end-to-end systems and development of unique hardware-software solutions based on own products that allows to expand the list of integration opportunities constantly.

VOCORD FaceControl took top line in the software rating of remote face recognition

On May 11, 2017 the Vokord company announced recognition of the VOCORD FaceControl system the first solution for remote face recognition in the rating of MegaFace.

Accuracy of recognition of an algorithm of Vocord of 92.8% - is nearly 10% higher, than at the closest competitor. Such result is achieved by means of upgrade of a neural network algorithm of the company.

On the basis of this algorithm the Vokord company created also VOCORD FaceControl intended for security:

Unified register of the Russian programs

All product line of Vokord company is included in the Unified register of the Russian programs for electronic computers and databases (the register of domestic software). On March 16, 2017 the Vokord company announced an output to the market of "boxed" option of software for the organization of control and management systems for access on the basis of technology of biometric face recognition VOCORD FaceControl.

VOCORD FaceControl is offered how autonomous system for installation at capacities of the customer or by the principle of a cloud service. The technology is most universal: VOCORD FaceControl works with any digital cameras (and connected on USB). A system supports independent operation or broadcasts data on network in real time.

The hardware-software platform provides recognition accuracy, and, thanks to a neural network algorithm, identification happens less than in a second.

The product is equipped with the Face Liveness Detection function ("the test for presence of life") when a system defines the living person, but not his photo or video with its participation. The product VOCORD FaceControl helps to exclude unauthorized penetration on an under control object of the persons which do not have access rights.

VOCORD FaceControl on service model

Since December, 2016 the system of biometric identification of persons VOCORD FaceControl is provided also on service model: a set of scalable standard and new services, ready to use is available to customers (a time recording of employees, access control to premises and others).

The model of sales is implemented thanks to cooperation of the companies of Vocord and R-ID. The R-ID company specializes in integration partner and development of own hardware and software systems for management, optimization and business process automation, including, in wholesale and retail trade, including tasks of management of client loyalty and increases in efficiency of sales. The algorithm of face recognition of Vocord showed the first result in testing

On September 5, 2016 the Vokord company announced world success of the algorithm of identification of persons created by it. The result of testing on the online platform MegaFace confirmed innovation of development of the company.

MegaFace represents the database from one million photos in which more than 690 thousand different people removed under natural conditions - in an accidental pose are represented, with a free look, at normal lighting and exposure. A problem of a competition - to estimate face recognition algorithm accuracy from gallery selection at the increasing number of "the distracting persons" (from 10 to 1 million) from MegaFace base.

The algorithm of recognition of VOCORD based on deep neural networks developed by specialists of the company showed good results in world testing, in category of identification of persons with a rank 1. It means that the computer program should select correctly the image of a human face from one million test photos, having delivered his face on the first place on degree of similarity to "standard" (base of photos of the people set for comparison). According to the results of tests the algorithm of Vokord company correctly recognized 75.127% of persons.

We initially optimized our algorithm of face recognition for a problem of identification, i.e. search of the set person among a big array of persons. Such problem definition is dictated by specifics of application of our systems for search of the persons who are wanted in places of mass stay of people (stations, the airports, shopping centers, etc.). Good results in face recognition which Vokord team of experts achieved became result of our systematic laborious scientific work which we conduct for many years. Now the company continues work and on optimization of the developed algorithms for problems of verification of the person of the person. For Vocord FaceControl the recognition algorithm on technology of neural networks is updated

Specialists of Vokord company developed own mathematical algorithm of face recognition which cornerstone the technology of deep neural networks and the original author's mathematical sequences of VOCORD is. The algorithm VOCORD allows to work as with the images received from cameras of survey video surveillance, and from specialized cameras for face recognition.

Processing speed is 3 million comparisons per second and does not depend on image quality. At the same time the high accuracy of recognition remains, and errors are minimized that is confirmed with the tests which are carried out by different techniques.

The algorithm VOCORD is already trained at images of the same persons removed from different foreshortenings at different times and in different conditions. The used training method has powerful benefit over training in which the base consists of several almost frontal images of one person. Learning process is continuous, and over time the accuracy of recognition increases.

The feature of an algorithm VOCORD consists in capability effectively to distinguish persons of the people following in a flow as it works with low permission of images (on an input the area of the person can have the size of 128 x 128 pixels, and distance between eyes about 50 pixels). It is important to note that the algorithm works both with frontal, and with partially turned persons.

Vocord advances FaceControl in the banking sector

On July 14, 2016 Vokord provided a technique for creation and the implementing solution Vocord FaceControl for the banking sector.

The solution is integrated in IT infrastructure of credit institutions and helps to solve complex problems of different function and complexity level.

On December 23, 2015 the Vokord company announced completion of works on creation of algorithms for fast and exact recognition of emotions of the person at distance, in real time. These algorithms are going to be built in functionality of a software package of biometric face recognition of VOCORD FaceControl.

For December 23, 2015 specialists of Vokord company conduct testing of the algorithms Vocord monitoring change of pulse of the person. In the nearest future these developments will log in complex recognition of emotions that will allow such products as Vocord FaceControl, to reach absolutely other level. This functionality will expand scope of software packages.

Frequency change of pulse - natural physiological reaction to external irritants, tracking of such reactions will become an effective method of diagnosing of a status of the person. It is possible to measure pulse rate on the smallest changes of color hues of skin, and the quality of video, the more precisely results of a remote research is better. Therefore the automatic improvement of parameters of selection of color and its gain applied in mathematical models of Vocord has paramount value in algorithm elaboration of correction of the image in this segment.

The algorithm Vocord integrates several acceptances of computer vision.

Principle of work:

• the technology of biometric recognition automatically selects the person.
• a system selects on it certain points for further monitoring and controls change of illumination and color of the selected sections.
• on the basis of data retrieveds the program builds a sinusoid of fluctuations of brightness, it completely matches a curve of pulse of the person, thus the accuracy of remote measurement is comparable to data of an electrocardiogram.

There was a special release of VOCORD FaceControl

On December 2, 2015 the Vokord company provided the special release of a biometric system of face recognition of VOCORD FaceControl developed for use in retail within the International RETEXPO 2015 exhibition.

A system is capable to count the number of unique visitors, i.e. is able to define how many times the specific person came into the premises or left it. For December 2, 2015 VOCORD FaceControl has one of the best indicators in the market of biometric technologies: accuracy of recognition exceeds 98%. Data are read out without participation of the person.

A system works with data archives, carries out retrospective search in the saved-up database of images of persons on the photo.

Vocord FaceControl is integrated with ArcGIS

On November 23, 2015 the companies Vocord also Esri CIS announced integration biometric of a system of face recognition of Vocord FaceControl and a geographic information system ArcGIS^[1].

It was held demonstrations a real-time mode at a conference of geoinformation technologies Esri.

The joint solution of the companies creates essentially new opportunities in ensuring public security and implementation of a number of tasks in the commercial sector, claim in the company. On October 13, 2015 the Vokord company announced existence in the system of face recognition VOCORD FaceControl of technology of reconstruction of a frontal foreshortening of a human face for one or several facsimiles using 3D technology - reconstruction^[2].

According to developers, function of the Vocord FaceControl system considerably facilitates process of recognition of the person and reduces influence of adverse factors on its reliability.

This functionality is created on 3D technology - modeling, the Vokord company developed by specialists for solving of tasks of the expert and criminalistic analysis, application in the commercial sector. A technology essence in creation of three-dimensional model of the person on the basis of one or several photos and further creation by means of intellectual algorithms of three-dimensional model of the person, the corresponding two-dimensional projection.

On July 24, 2015 the Vokord company announced change of model of licensing of the VOCORD FaceControl system.

The model of licensing VOCORD FaceControl operating now includes the main and additional packets. Such policy, according to vendor, considerably simplifies design of the systems of face recognition of any level of complexity.

As a part of the main packet modules for administration of a system and work with the database of reference photos, the software for jobs of operators. For the license to use software of a system of face recognition on the small not distributed projects, the quantity up to 10 surveillance cameras, in the main packet provides the special fixed price.

Additional packet as a part of which modules of sex determination and age, calculation in real time of number of visitors and identifications of regular customers, are provided to partners and clients of the company by an opportunity to use the VOCORD FaceControl system as the tool for solving of tasks of marketing analytics in the retail sector. 2D - VOCORD FaceControl recognition

On June 30, 2014 the Vokord company announced readiness of the VOCORD FaceControl system for 2D - to face recognition of the people disappearing from surveillance cameras.

The new functionality is constructed on the innovation principles 3D - sight and implemented by department of developments of the company within the new strategy providing considerable expansion of opportunities of product lines of VOCORD.

For the majority of the systems of recognition the people hiding persons (for example, turning away from the camera, putting on dark glasses or covering the face with a hood), represent a serious problem. When the person is not visible, such systems just do not fix the person, and it significantly reduces their efficiency in places mass accumulation of people (on transport hubs, in supermarkets, shopping centers, etc.). The new feature of the 2D VOCORD FaceControl system allows to solve qualitatively this problem – first of all, due to application of a new method of detecting of appearance of the person in a control zone.

Principle of system operation of face recognition of VOCORD FaceControl 2D: in a zone of control two cameras working in the synchronous mode and forming a stereo pair are mounted. After the person appears in such zone, according to the image from a stereo pair is made 3D - reconstruction of an object in real time. Deceive the 2D VOCORD FaceControl system, having passed unnoticed, it is impossible, and such factors as sunglasses, make-up, strongly inclined head or look aside (a word, traditional methods of "deception" of the camera) will not work any more. Moreover, if a system recorded the person, but did not "catch" his face, it will automatically give an alarm.

Developers noted high reliability of face recognition of the 2D VOCORD FaceControl system which, in particular, is reached at the expense of the pictures made two cameras from different foreshortenings.

On August 5, 2014 the Vokord company provided new features of a system of face recognition of VOCORD FaceControl: classification of people by gender and age, determination of frequency of visits of objects where video surveillance is conducted.

The updated VOCORD FaceControl system helps with the solution of a range of marketing tasks:

• accounting of statistics of visits, with breakdown of visitors by gender and age;
• identification in trade - and business centers of regular customers, VIP clients, unwanted visitors.

On an input in trade - or business center the specialized cameras VOCORD NetCam4 are mounted and in the automatic mode select, photograph, save all new faces which got to the sector of observation of a lens. Will recognize the persons which are available in base a system and compares to archive.
