"DV air base" prepares for a fire-dangerous season

On April 1, 2014 it became known of the beginning of the project of equipment of vehicles a system SCOUT on the Far East base of aviation forest conservation.

Project Tasks

Implementation GLONASS/ GPS- technologies is necessary for control of fire fighting and timely decision making on transfer of forces and means.

The project is implemented by Dalyinterradio company.

Project Progress

The system of satellite monitoring started equipment of vehicle fleet prior to the beginning of the fire-dangerous period - in the middle of April. Special equipment involved at fire fighting in hard-to-reach spots is taken under control of a system.

"On vehicles the monitoring modules MT-600 containing GLONASS/ GPS- the receiver, the microcontroller, a flash memory and the GSM modem are mounted. Together with modules transport is also equipped with fuel level sensors", - noted Natalya Pavlenko, the top manager Dalyinterradio of LLC.

"Now we install GLONASS on all-terrain vehicles. They work in the most hard-to-reach spots and bring to seats of fire of people and the necessary equipment. All information on their movement, however, as about other our equipment, will come to the uniform dispatching center that will give the chance quickly to coordinate actions", - Nikolay Shkarupa, the chief of regional dispatching service of the Far East air base of forest conservation told.

Project Results

For March 31, 2014 monitoring equipment and monitoring is set on 10 transport units.
