History

2014: Consolidation on one platform with Softool

RIW 2014 is the autumn action at once three industries (the Internet, Media, the Telecom) integrating a multistream Conference, the Media communication Forum, the Exhibition and also a set of extra program actions, awards, the presentations and promotion actions.

Thanks to enlargement of the project due to connection to it in addition to an IT segment of two new directions (Media and the Telecom), usual interpretation of an abbreviation of RIW (Russian Internet Week) was modified to Russian Interactive Week.

On October 1, 2014 organizers of the RIW 2014 and Softool exhibitions signed the agreement on cooperation within which they the RIW 2014 2014 and the Softool exhibition are led on one platform.

It was announced that from November 12 to November 14, 2014 more than 150 exhibitors and 20,000 participants will be going to TsVK "Expocentre" in Moscow. The joint exposure of the RIW and Softool exhibitions will make more than 10,000 sq.m.

The coalition of two exhibitions promises to create synergy effect which will provide lighting of all spheres of the modern Russian IT industry. The sections of Softool including solutions in the field of local development and integration, export of IT products and services, the state applications and platforms for citizens, the information state, mobile applications and Big Data will add the subject of RIW 2014 focused on professional Internet business, media and telecommunications.
