Modular DPC - modular data center, development of consortium of ETegro Technologies companies, Svyaz Engineering and "Utilex".

On March 16, 2015 the consortium announced an output to the market of modular data center on the basis of infrastructure of NOTA 5x7kW.

Data processing center - an effective and economic analog of import products.

The modular DPC (World Data Centres) is created on the basis of autonomous infrastructure from Utilex company – the pre-fabricated module NOTA 5x7kW with internal dimensions of 3*6.3*3 m.

As a part of the module: a raised floor, AUGPT, the ACS, a thermal veil, lighting, an internal partition for creation the platform gateway, a ramp.

The system of placement of the equipment consists of 5 racks with the maximum payload of 7 kW everyone. Computing environment of World Data Centres is created on the platform of the equipment of ETegro Technologies company. In racks about 100 ETegro Hyperion RS130 G5 servers and 50 ETegro Hyperion RS230 G5 servers on the basis of the Intel Xeon processors E5-2600 v3 are installed.

Each server maintains up to 1.5 TB energy efficient memories of DDR4 standard. Intel VMCS Shadowing expands hardware support of resource allocation between virtual machines, providing additional flexibility for work of legacy software. In the solution installation up to 2200 disks of 2.5 in size", including to 300 PCIe Non-Volatile Memory Express (NVMe) SSD having ultra-low delays with an outstanding performance is supported.

The optimized thermal design of the ETegro Hyperion servers of fifth generation provides the guaranteed working capacity at ambient temperature to 40 °C that provides additional benefit for energy efficiency and fault tolerance MTSODA.

Besides they are equipped with service processors based on which complete hardware status monitoring of the equipment by means of the standard browser is implemented.

Network infrastructure of DPC is created on the basis of four ETegro Eos 420 switches (on 48 ports 10G SFP + and 6 ports 40G QSFP+) and two ETegro Eos 520 spine-switches with 32 ports 40G QSFP + or 102 10GbE.

The system of uninterrupted power is executed on the platform of modular uninterruptible power supply units of double conversion SIP380A100MD20.9-33/08 of production of Svyaz Engineering company. Active power of a system is 72 kW, the level of reservation N+1.

In an additional battery cabinet of SIP380A0MDB36 36 rechargeable batteries are placed that provides 15 minutes of battery life at the 51 kW loading taking into account consumption with technology equipment (conditioners, lighting, the ACS, etc.).

The management system for climate is executed on the basis of precision Clever Breeze conditioners of production of Utilex company. System power – 42 kW, the level of reservation N+1. For ensuring uninterrupted cooling conditioners are connected to the system of uninterrupted power. Conditioners are located under a raised floor, external blocks – on an edge wall of the module. The patented scheme of cooling at which only the condenser outside is located allows to use a system with the broad temperature range of external air.


Technical characteristics of a conditioning system

  • Air temperature in a cold corridor of +22 °C (± 2 °C);
  • Temperature condition of work – from -55 °C to +50 °C;
  • Humidity monitoring (built-in humidifier).

Providing uninterrupted cooling conditioners are connected to the system of uninterrupted power. The system of remote monitoring and management is constructed based on the Clever Breeze conditioners of controllers which are switched on in structure. A system executes monitoring of temperature of cold and hot corridors, statuses of uninterruptible power supply units and humidity indoors, analyzes a status and refrigerating capacity of conditioners, performs functions of a control and management system for access to the premises.

A system allows in a remote format via the web interface to receive the image from video cameras of any format and to trace history of events. Network interaction of controllers ensures the coordinated work of all above-mentioned systems.
