JSB Legion (JSC) is universal commercial bank, it is registered on October 10, 1994 the License of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation No. 3117.

The Central Bank of Russia since July 7, 2017 revoked the license from the Moscow bank "Legion" and appointed in it temporary administration. As notes the regulator, the bank took the 157th place in a banking system. The bank evaded from execution of requirements of the Central Bank about adequate assessment of the accepted credit risks. Creation of necessary reserves on possible losses on a number of low-quality assets revealed complete loss of the capital by Legion. "Besides, the financial position of credit institution considerably worsened in connection with loss from cash desk of bank of material values in large volume", - it is noted in the message.

The bank worked in corporate, retail and investment segments of banking services and entered number 200 of the largest Banks of Russia on deposits of individuals, the amount of balance sheet profit, volume of financing of small and medium business. The Legion bank was provided by offices in To Moscow, eleven regional branches in the cities Pushkino of the Moscow region Ivanovo Vladimir To Samara St. Petersburg To Penza Nizhny Novgorod Norilsk Yaroslavl Yekaterinburg, Krasnoyarsk and divisions of Bank in the territory of the Russian Federation in the cities Kursk, Konakovo and Nevinnomyssk.

In October, 2009 by CB Legion (LLC) it was transformed to JSB Legion (Ltd).

In April, 2011 the procedure of accession of AB Region (JSC) to JSB Legion (Ltd) is complete. By JSB Legion (Ltd) it was transformed to JSB Legion (JSC).

In September, 2013 the authorized capital of Bank increased to 916,868,400 rubles.

Net assets of Bank for January 1, 2015 made 2,429,145,000 rubles. JSB Legion (JSC) it is carried by the Central Bank of Russia to group of financially stable banks.

Order of FCS of the Russian Federation of 10/4/2011 No. 2035). The general limit of bank on issue of bank guarantees of customs payment makes 170 million rubles. The maximum amount of one guarantee can reach 35 million rubles. The right of provision of guarantees by Bank works till October 1, 2014.
