Company Meridium, Inc. is participant of the market of creation of software products and services for performance management of fixed assets (Asset Performance Management, APM) for capital productive industries.

Founded in 1993, the company is based in Roanoke, the State of Virginia, the USA, also having offices worldwide. Meridium is a pioneer of APM and continues to create innovations, taking all advantages of the data obtained from sensors, devices, systems and the "smart" equipment for minimization of unplanned events, incidents and idle times.

History

2016: Meridium is purchased by GE Digital company

On September 14, 2016 GE Digital announced acquisition of company Meridium, Inc., software developer for performance management of production assets (Asset Performance Management/APM).

This step will strengthen and will expand possibilities of GE in the field of the industrial Internet and will allow to propose to customers the solutions including analytics in real time and the advanced practicians of operation and maintenance of the fixed business assets.

The products Meridium in a segment of performance management of assets are already integrated into the Predix platform (a cloud solution of GE company on collecting of industrial data and their analytics).^[1]

2015

Meridium improves availability of fixed assets, increases security, optimizes costs and reduces risks for the clients worldwide in more than 80 countries within work of 1.200 licensed platforms (data for 2015). Based on the software of Meridium specialists of the enterprises warn and prevent hardware failures, implementing rational asset management strategies.
