2021: Transfer of rights to WorksPad products to RuPost

As representatives of Astra and RuPost Group of Companies clarified to TAdviser, the exclusive rights to WorksPad products were transferred by MobilityLab to RuPost in April 2021.

2020: Three Updated Approaches in User Interface Organization

On January 15, 2019, MobilityLab announced that it had patented three updated approaches in the organization of the user interface. All three updated MobilityLab solutions are implemented in the next generation of WorksPad X mobile clients.

According to the company, the first patented development was the "Navigation Panel for the List of Letters," which simplifies the search for information, allowing you to quickly and conveniently switch between dates to view messages on certain days, as well as upload letters to your mobile device for the desired period.

The second is "Interface for presenting a list of letters in the form of a vertically scrollable tape of letter cards." It optimizes work with mail "on the go" and allows the user to view mail messages in the already familiar card format for everyone, like publications on a social network. Thanks to the updated interface, the mobile employee gets a convenient opportunity, by analogy with the news feed of the social network, to view, expand, minimize and open the desired letter in corporate mail.

The third - "Interface for the comprehensive presentation of information from the postal system" - is aimed at optimizing the workspace of mobile workplaces on tablets, which actually replaced laptops at meetings and in recent years have become an integral tool for the productivity of decision-makers. The updated interface allows you to display the most up-to-date mail, upcoming events and contacts used on one screen of the tablet, quickly and conveniently managing processes without screen switches.

Decisions on the issuance of industrial samples were made based on the results of an examination by the Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent), which established that the declared developments relate to objects of patent rights and comply with the conditions of patentability provided for by the Civil Code of the Russian Federation .

2017: WorksPad R

On April 21, 2017, InfoTeCS, MobilityLab and iT introduced WorksPad R software technology.

The product implements data encryption using GOST algorithms based on cryptographic libraries "InfoTeCS ViPNet"^[1].

Special mobile clients WorksPad R for iOS and Android contain built-in cryptographic libraries - cryptographic providers "Infotex ViPNet PKCS# 11" for iOS and "Infotex ViPNet JCrypto" for Android, implementing cryptographic algorithms according to the GOST standard.

Using cryptographic tools protects information received on mobile devices in WorksPad R applications:

• documents from connected corporate file resources and as attachments to letters;
• content of messages
• calendar events.

All operations are performed in RAM without caching data to disk. Key generation enciphering - using the ViPNet biometric random number sensor. Data encryption on a mobile device - in accordance with the symmetric encryption algorithm GOST 28147-89.

WorksPad R supports integrated business information isolation policies within a single mobile application.
