Biography
Born on April 18, 1963 in the city of Ufa (Bashkiria) in the family of a university teacher and a doctor. In 1981 he entered the full-time department of the Faculty of Physics of Moscow State University. M.V. Lomonosov. In 1986 he graduated from the Physics Department of Moscow State University, in 1989 - graduate school of the Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics of Moscow State University.
In November 1990, together with his fellow student Igor Kasimov, he founded AiTi, where he served as director, then - general director. Responsible for the overall management and strategic development of the company.
Since 1990 - Chairman of the Board of Directors at Aplana Group of Companies (until 2018, ATI Group of Companies).
In 1999-2018 - President, General Director at ATI JSC.

Softline VP
In February 2023, Softline announced that Tagir Yapparov became vice president of the company. In this position, he joined the Softline board of directors presented in the same month, along with other iconic figures in the Russian IT market.
Tagir Yapparov as vice president, among other things, will be responsible for the direction engaged in the development and promotion of Softline's own software products, the company told TAdviser. In 2022, Softline noted that the development of its own products was determined by one of the important areas of its business.
In parallel with the new position, Tagir Yapparov remained the co-founder and head of his structures created earlier, including AI and Logic of Business.

Hobby
Tagir Yapparov has been addicted to jazz music since the age of fourteen. I listened at home, in Ufa, together with my older brothers and their friends, recording jazz and alternative music. Arriving in Moscow, Tagir began to attend jazz concerts.
At the physics department of Moscow State University, he was known as an "expert" in American music and literature.
Back in 1987, already a graduate student at Moscow State University, Tagir met the famous Russian jazzman Alexei Kozlov, whom he advised on the use of computers for music processing.
In the 90s, ATI, under the leadership of Yapparov, decided to start publishing music discs. The company "Melody" transferred to Tagir Yapparov the rights to publish all records of Soviet jazz available in the archives of "Melody." To begin with, it was planned to publish 4 discs - the full archive of the Arsenal group. Soon realizing that this requires a professional, Tagir invited a publisher - Andrei Feofanov, who was already well known in the music business.
Having released these discs, Tagir Yapparov and Andrei Feofanov together established the Bohemia Music Company (BMR), which specializes in publishing jazz, classical, sacred and folklore music. Andrey became the general producer of the company. Now there are already 150 editions in her catalog.
