He began his career at LANIT in 1995 as an instructor at a training center in the areas of Novell and UNIX. Since 1999 - Technical Director of the LANIT Network Academy. From 2002 to 2013 - Director of the training center. Over the years, Dmitry Izmestyev, at the head of the LANIT Network Academy Center, has trained more than 80 thousand specialists, tested the methodology for developing and adapting courses of any orientation, and implemented a number of large-scale projects. The training center has become one of the leaders in the corporate training market and has received recognition from vendor companies.

As of January 2013 - Vice President for Innovative Projects of LANIT. The tasks included combining the efforts of all divisions of the company in education projects. In this capacity, Dmitry Izmestiev continued to develop projects related to training technologies at LANIT, in particular, he began promoting the innovative Active Textbook platform on the Russian and world markets.
