2020: Translation of all courses into remote format
The LANIT Network Academy (part of the LANIT group) translates all courses into a remote format. Authorized and authorised training center programs are now available in webinar and cloud learning mode. In addition, Network Academy opens a free subscription to Microsoft Office courses for newcomers. This was announced on March 26, 2020 by LANIT.
According to the training center, over the past two weeks, demand for distance courses has grown by 75%. About 60% of companies choose online broadcasts instead of the planned full-time training of employees. Some organizations see enterprise training during the quarantine period as an opportunity to improve the skills of workers who are temporarily left without a full load.
The demand for cloud personal training has increased by 34% - a special development of the training center, which allows the teacher to fully control the learning process of each student: students not only study theory using video lectures and perform laboratory work, but also receive feedback as they pass educational modules and complete tasks.
So that students do not interrupt their training due to quarantine, Network Academy has moved its courses to a remote format. Although some students still choose full-time education, now you can connect to all educational programs remotely - in the format of webinars/cloud learning - and listen to lectures, communicate with the teacher and perform practical tasks without leaving home.
In addition, the training center has opened free access to online courses on MS Office for newcomers.
Despite the rapid growth of the online education segment, a significant part of the Network Academy IT courses traditionally took place in person or in the format of Personal Training, combining an individual approach and classroom training. Our students prefer to study with separation from production and personal contact with the teacher and colleagues. But the situation in the world is changing the habits of the majority, and it is important to see this as an opportunity for professional development. After all, it is in times of crisis that the competence of the specialist and their development acquire special relevance, said Julia Shikova, director of the LANIT Network Academy

2016
300,000 graduates
Almost 300,000 specialists became graduates of the LANIT Network Academy during the years of the training center.
2015-2016 academic year
The most popular in the 2015-2016 academic year was the direction of consulting. The positive dynamics of the Network Academy were preserved in the field of authorized training, contrary to the pessimistic forecasts of analysts who predicted a fall in the education market. Despite the decline in purchasing power of IT departments and the impact of new regulatory requirements, the center's share in the market for courses for IT specialists authorized by foreign software and hardware manufacturers has increased. For example, the share of Microsoft training increased by 3.5%. The center's educational program portfolio includes more than 550 authorized and copyright courses.
One of the key areas of work of the LANIT Network Academy was the development of e-learning in a format that provides continuous support for students from teachers: such a practice for several years gave high results in the training of exam and GIA observers. In 2016, on a special portal of egebook.ru, the training center placed courses for a number of specialists involved in organizing and conducting state examinations, some of which were developed by the LANIT Network Academy, and some by the Moscow Center for Educational Quality. More than 78,300 people registered for these courses, and the final test was passed and received certificates of 61,744 people. If we analyze the ratio of registered and trained, we will see that 79% of those registered for the course studied - this is the highest result for distance learning, indicating the competent motivation of students to study and their timely support (during the training at the Network Academy, two hotlines worked: one helped to cope with technical difficulties, the second - methodologists advised on substantive issues of the course).
Among the major projects implemented by the training center for the 2015-2016 academic year, a special place was taken by the training of users of the housing and communal services GIS - a federal centralized information system containing all information on the state of housing and communal services in Russia. To teach work in the system, a line of courses was developed - for managing organizations, associations of homeowners, housing and construction and other cooperatives, resource-supplying organizations, state authorities at the level of entities and local self-government. During 300 training events organized by the Ministry of Communications of Russia, teachers of the Network Academy trained more than 16 thousand students. The total potential audience of users of housing and communal services GIS, excluding citizens - individuals, is approximately 200 thousand people from 56 thousand organizations. It is planned to continue educational events in the capital and regions.
The projects of the training center involve their own video studios and experienced professionals of the e-learning group. Continuing the development of modern teaching methods based on current and promising developments, in the 2015-2016 academic year, the Network Academy gained experience for Russia in introducing one of the most effective interactive platforms for in-house training, distribution of electronic publications and information materials based on the Active Textbook system. Specialists of the training center conducted electronic (remote) training of about 1000 employees of the Social Insurance Fund, within the framework of which Active TextBook training manual development technology and cloud-based content storage technologies were successfully applied.

The turnover of the Network Academy for the 2014-2015 academic year increased by 4% compared to the previous period.
Julia Shikova, director of the Network Academy training center, said: "The direction of complex programs has been most actively developed. Network Academy together with Microsoft successfully launched a new Certification pack service, which includes a vendor course and a voucher for the exam, to the market of additional professional education. This initiative helped the training center increase the market share of Microsoft courses by 1.6%. " In the future, we will focus on the development of e-learning. At the same time, the main emphasis will be placed on forms providing continuous support to students by teachers. A new direction will remain important - the development of comprehensive programs aimed at obtaining relevant specialties on the market as quickly and conveniently as possible for students. Each of these programs will have a significant practical component, allowing students to develop the skills needed by the market "here and now."
Graduates of the Network Academy, 2012
In 2015, the Network Academy implemented several major educational projects, including a training program for public observers of exam procedures. Project specifics - registration for training is available to everyone. The training center received 17 thousand applications. Half of the students completed their training. In just 2 years of the existence of the Network Academy program, it has released more than 12 thousand public observers for the exam.
Among the major projects implemented by the center in the 2014-2015 academic year, the development of an educational environment for full-time training of students in working with the Unified Medical Information and Analytical System of Moscow and large-scale training of SberTech employees.
Yury Lyovin, deputy director of the Network Academy training center, LANIT said: "We strive to expand the boundaries of professional additional training, introduce new forms of communication with students. We have long had our own video studio, whose specialists successfully prepare video material for courses. Now we have gained experience in shooting and editing various videos. This is a new direction of our business, which we plan to develop, and use professional developments in the preparation of educational videos. "
Over 20 years of work, Network Academy has trained more than 150 thousand specialists and completed 50 large-scale educational projects. 2014
31% increase in turnover
The Network Academy training center LANIT increased its turnover by 31% compared to the 2013-2014 academic year. Growth in the context of the general stagnation of the additional segment formations Russia in was ensured by the implementation of a number of large-scale projects.
Director of the LANIT Network Academy Shikova Julia: "By the beginning of the school year, the interest of corporate customers in educational projects has grown. This is due to the rapid development of remote, e-learning and cloud learning. It affects the growth of the segment of additional education and the active position of the state in the implementation of information technologies in the work of various departments. It is necessary to train not only public servants who ensure the functioning of the service provision system, but also users - citizens of Russia, for whom accessing new services may pose certain difficulties."
In the 2013-2014 academic year, specialists of the LANIT Network Academy implemented a number of educational projects. Among the largest - training of public observers for the exam. 14,607 people from 83 constituent entities of the Russian Federation were able to remotely undergo training using stationary computers, and tablets and phones online and offline. This opportunity was realized thanks to the use of the high-tech Active Textbook platform used by the Network Academy for such projects.
A significant project is also the training of doctors in the city of Moscow. The purpose of the project is to train medical professionals in the use of information technologies in anticipation of the introduction of an electronic medical record in the Moscow health care system. As part of the project, the Network Academy has developed 3 training programs for doctors designed for different levels of initial training. "According to our statistics collected before developing the courses, about 60% of metropolitan doctors had very modest computer experience. This category of professionals mainly includes experienced diagnoses and specialists who have been in the profession for more than a dozen years and have valuable knowledge and experience. To implement the project, we created 16 mobile classes designed for deployment directly in Moscow clinics. To date, 6,984 medical workers have been trained, "said Yuri Levin, deputy director of the LANIT Network Academy.
In the 2013-2014 academic year, the center trained court spokespersons to work effectively with the media. Almost 300 judicial specialists from 83 constituent entities of the Russian Federation were trained.
2013-2014 academic year: Lanit Network Academy and Microinform created an alliance in the hope of surviving
The Lanit Network Academy and Microinform training centers announced in November 2014 the creation of an alliance for joint training of IT specialists. The structures remain completely independent of each other (a new brand is not created), but the[1] to work more closely[2].
Companies draw an analogy with air travel, in which a passenger who arrives at the airport very often does not know which plane he will fly, and which company will carry out the transportation - he relies on the air alliance. Partners are confident that the alliance will allow each center (regardless of which of them is approached by the client) to offer a full range of training services. Both centers will form a single service sales management system, a pool of teachers and a technical support service. At the same time, as the general director of Microinform Boris Friedman says, at the moment there is no talk of a reduction in staff, although this will depend on the future dynamics of sales. Moreover, he hopes that in the near future, companies will be able to increase their joint staff.
The directions of the educational process of both companies practically do not intersect. Lanit Network Academy is an authorized training center for companies, Cisco,, Citrix Systems,,, etc IBM Apple Android. Adobe The Microinform Training Center presents educational services for companies such as,, on the Russian market. EMS VMware Symantec BMC Software The only common vendor is. Microsoft
Each of the centers has its own special training technologies. So, the "Network Academy" has developed and uses personal, including "cloud" (via the Internet) training. Microinform implements large corporate projects using webinars. Combining these services is designed to increase the efficiency of the educational process, and customers should be able to spend more efficiently by placing a comprehensive training order in a single structure.
2013: Growth of 26% turnover
The Network Academy training center LANIT produced more than 6 thousand hours of author's training video content in 136 courses as part of the Personal Training format. According to the results of the 2012-2013 school year, the center's turnover increased by almost 26%, profitability - by more than 2 times.
Personalization is one of the main trends in IT training. This trend - gaining knowledge according to a personal schedule - will continue in 2014. The interest of students in personal training is explained by the quality of the received education. Studies conducted by center specialists among people who chose this format showed that students double their progress in obtaining knowledge and pass exams by 30% better than the traditional form of study.
In the summer of 2013, LANIT Network Academy launched a cloud-based training format. Cloud Personal Training courses take place remotely, but this is a full-fledged training with all its necessary elements. The teacher communicates with the student individually using personal communication tools, checks and gives comments on the performance of laboratory work, which disproportionately improves the quality of education compared to remote self-training. Along with educational materials, specialists of the LANIT Network Academy developed more than 52,000 tests in 256 author and authorized courses.
Along with the development of training methods at the LANIT Network Academy, the company continues to work on a project to create Russia electronic tutorials based on technology ActiveTextBook the Canadian company Evidence Point Software Corp. (part of the LANIT group of companies). E-books will be available on devices running operating systems iOS and, Android as well as on platforms, and. Microsoft Windows Linux Mac OS Textbooks will be presented both in the online version, which can be read through any browser, and offline. The material is reliably protected from copying.
