2021: Smart ID Engine Implementation

Accounting outsourcing service Button has introduced Smart Engines technology for recognizing a passport of the Russian Federation into its personnel accounting system. This was announced on November 19, 2021 by Smart Engines. Users of the service have become available the capabilities of the Smart ID Engine software product, which provide fast and safe entry of passport data, simplifying the process of hiring new employees. Button - accounting outsourcing with management accounting and legal protection for firms and organizations (individual entrepreneurs, LLC, USN-D, USN D-R, OSNO) both in Moscow and throughout Russia.

Now the New Employee Employment Buttons customers do not need to manually enter passport data. Based on artificial intelligence technologies, the Smart Engines recognition system will quickly and accurately extract data from the passport, and then they are automatically entered into the fields of the new employee's account card in the Button client personnel accounting system.

Smart Engines software products do not require any special skills from end users. The flagship GreenOCR technology provides high speed and accuracy of recognition on scan copies and photographs of passports taken from different angles and under different lighting conditions. A thousand clients are served in Knopka, the total number of payments for them exceeds 1.5 million. The algorithm was trained on a sample of 1.2 million payments and passed an accuracy test on 300,000 payments that had previously been made manually by accountants. Studies have shown that the method used allows you to automatically make 96.5% of payments, while alternative solutions (comparison was carried out with 1C: Accounting) are processed only 80%.

A resident of the Skolkovo Foundation's information technology cluster, the Button company announced in September 2016 that, thanks to its technology, 100% of bank payments can be processed by artificial intelligence. The "Buttons" technology is used in accounting, allowing you to determine the type of transaction and post bank statements with high accuracy.

The company's goal is to create artificial accounting intelligence and, with its help, automate accounting by 90%. This means that the system will perform 90% of all accounting transactions on its own, and only 10% will require human participation.

One of the important needs of the client is to know what tax he will pay in the nearest reporting. To calculate it correctly, you need to conduct a bank statement - for each payment, determine which type of transaction it belongs to: payment to the supplier, return to the buyer, cash withdrawal, loan to the counterparty, etc. The accountant, knowing the circumstances of the client and reading the purpose of the payment, can quite accurately determine the type of transaction and correctly post the payment. But making each payment by an accountant means that with the growth of the customer base, the staff of accountants will grow linearly.

Using the Button reduces costs by automating the process. After all, conducting a bank statement is a classification task: each payment must be correlated with one of the classes (type of operation). The use of the Naïve Bayes Classifier algorithm allowed the company to automate the discharge process and achieve high accuracy in determining the type of operation - 96.5%.

The use of machine learning algorithms allows the "Button" to increase the client base without hiring new employees. And for accountants "Buttons" the process of conducting an extract is simplified and allows you to check the correctness of the performed operations in a short time, and where necessary, adjust the payments made. The algorithm is self-learning, each correction of the accountant allows you to improve the process and improve the algorithm.

2015

In December 2015, the Button service became an accredited partner of the Skolkovo Technopark. The service will help startups focus on the development and commercialization of their project, and provide support for the company's routine activities to professionals.

The "button" performs four functions - accountant, lawyer, business assistant and Internet bank. Services can be purchased in a package or limited to accounting. More than 700 companies throughout Russia are clients of Pushka.


"Button" specializes in working with small companies, which are mostly Skolkovo members. All communication with the team takes place remotely, including through a convenient mobile application.
