Biography

Sergey Popov was born on January 15, 1988 in Moscow. In 2009 he graduated from the Faculty of Economics of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, in 2011 - a master's program in world economics at Moscow State University. Since 2011, he has been engaged in project management in the field of finance and information technology.

In 2014, he joined the corporate council of Strakhova the group "" and Uralsib headed the Change Management Center.

In 2016, Sergey Popov became the head of the executive body of the Sakhalin Region - the Agency for Information Technology and Communications (hereinafter - the Ministry of Digital Development and Communications of the region).

From 2018 to 2019 he was Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Sakhalin Region.

On May 29, 2019, Ai-Teko (iTeco) announced that Sergey Vladimirovich Popov, who is also known in business circles as an experienced young manager with deep expertise in the IT sector, was appointed deputy general director of the Ai-Teko Group for the development of the product line and services.

In the context of the growth of the business of companies in the Group of Companies and the changing situation in the domestic IT market, Ai-Teko is expanding its product and service direction.

As Deputy General Director of Ai-Teko, Sergey Vladimirovich will lead all activities to develop existing and create new own products, a strategy for promoting them on the market, and finding promising ideas and companies. It will also support internal product initiatives and create conditions for their appearance.
