Croc: A VR system for the sphere of design

In April, 2017 it became known that the Croc provided the universal system of virtual reality for construction companies, the project organizations and also design offices of industrial enterprises. The hardware-software solution is focused on business needs for detailed visualization of engineering data and creation of virtual prototypes of industrial products and construction objects.

Using a VR system specialists of project teams will be able to simplify approval of engineering designs thanks to the maximum visualization of the virtual model. Implementation of a professional system of virtual reality at the enterprises will allow to accelerate project development, to lower production costs of classical models and to reduce time of adoption of design solutions. The system of virtual reality is connected to instruments of automated design (CAD). Thanks to it each engineer and the designer can make changes to the engineering design "on the fly" and at once to see them in a virtual prototype. It is possible to load data into a VR system from all popular design tools – Autodesk, Dassault Systèmes, Siemens, PTC – without additional optimization.

Builders and designers of buildings will be able to reveal collisions in an interactive mode, to take measurements, to visualize fragments of constructions, combining in the virtual model an original informatin from a different CAD. Along with it there is a possibility of operational work with versions of the project in process of making changes.

Some of the first the VR solution of CROC was tested in the Ministry of Transport and Road Facilities of the Republic of Tatarstan in the pilot project on visualization of a road outcome.
