Biography

Alexander Skvortsov was born in Leningrad.

In 2005 graduated from Naval institute of radio electronics of A.S. Popov in "The software of ADP equipment and automated systems".

In 2005-2007 served in the ranks of Navy of the Russian Federation.

From 2007 to 2013 held different positions in the commercial sector of economy.

In 2013-2018 worked as the head of department of maintenance, the head of department of federal programs, the associate director of FGAU GNII ITT "Informica". The main stated purpose of this organization is implementation of complex support of development and use of new ICT in the field of education and science of Russia.

In 2019-2020 was the head of the regional center of transformation of formation of the Moscow region of "Academy of social management". The purpose of activity of this center specifies information and analytical, scientific and methodical and organizational and methodical ensuring effective functioning and development of a system of electronic advanced training and occupational retraining of pedagogical workers and heads of the educational organizations of the Moscow region.

Director of the department of digital development of the Ministry of Education and Science

In August, 2020 Alexander Skvortsov was appointed the director of the department of digital development of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, reported department. What priorities were set for it, in department could not specify TAdviser quickly.

According to "The parliamentary newspaper" Falkov then specified that one of the reasons which slowed down transition to online training is an imperfection of national digital platforms and services of the organization of educational activity in an online format: "In these conditions we as soon as possible should provide the sovereignty, finish and implement domestic digital platforms for universities", quotes its edition.

To Skvortsov since September, 2019 the department of digital development which till May, 2020 nazyvavatsya by department of IT in the field of science and the higher education was headed by Anthony Shvindt. He told TAdviser that passed to work as the director of Institute of digital development of science and education. Anthony Shvindt says that it is the new organization which will propose solutions an industry federal executive authority, first of all, of the Ministry of Education and Science.
