2021: Strategy Pharma bought "Century Live"
July 23, 2021 it became known about the sale of the chain of pharmacies "Century Live" to a competitor. The buyer was the structure of the pharmaceutical distributor Zdravservice"" and the pharmacy association IRIS Dmitry Sokol.
According to Kommersant, citing data from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, from July 20, 2021, the company of Dmitry Sokol and his partner Oleg Bogomolov, Strategy Pharma, specially created for the transaction, owns Brinpharm M LLC, which, in turn, controls the operator of pharmacies LLC Pharmacies Century Live. The parties did not disclose the cost of the transaction, but the interlocutors of the publication on the market suggested that it could be equivalent to two to three monthly revenues - that is, up to 262.5 million rubles.
By July 2021, the Century Live manages the points of the same name, as well as pharmacies under the brands Gloria Farm, Medial, and Economy Pharmacy. Includes about 70 objects in Moscow and the Moscow region. The Century of Life was developed by the family of the Mosoblduma speaker Igor Bryntsalov, nephew of the creator of the Bryntsalov-A drugmaker Vladimir Bryntsalov.
Brinfarm M belonged to Nina Bryntsalova. The company, in turn, had 99% in the chain of pharmacies "Century Live." Alexei Chetvergov, the former general director of the producer of soft drinks and snacks Chernogolovka, had another 1%.
According to the interlocutors of the publication, earlier the owners of "Century Live" were negotiating the sale of the network with the Ufa network "Farmland," which later bought 20 pharmacies A.V.E. in Moscow.
IRIS is one of the three largest pharmacy chains in Russia after ASNA and Rigla with a market share of 4.6%, the network has 2.43 thousand pharmacies.
According to the general director of the DSM Group Sergey Shulyak, the pharmacies of the Century Live network after the shift will continue to work under the current signs. Pharmacies are well known to customers, and it is unlikely that new owners will spend money on changing brands in the next two years, the source said.[1]
