In Lenta supermarkets in Moscow robots will service buyers

In November, 2017 information that in seven recently opened supermarkets of retail chain stores Tape in Moscow as selling assistants, along with normal employees, Promobot robots are employed appeared. In each of shops about one work consultant is implemented.

Service Promobot robots consultants will render services to buyers, to tell about relevant discounts and actions, to show goods and products and also to increase service quality of visitors in general.

Promobot robots independently move on halls and communicate with buyers. They are able to distinguish persons that allows them to remember visitors and to welcome them at the next meeting. Thanks to employees robots the retail chain stores are going to acquaint visitors from own products updated the line. Also, on expectations of the company, it will allow to draw attention to the opened supermarkets and to please buyers with technological service.

According to the development director of the producer of independent service Promobot robots Oleg Kivokurtsev, as of November, 2017 the transaction is the largest implementation of independent service robots consultants to the sphere retail — similar events were not neither in Asia, nor in Europe, nor in the USA.^[1]
