AUTOMATED WORKPLACE SWR

The automated workplace SWR is the Russian support system of automated design of products, development technology and production processes of production and data management throughout ZhTsI.

Represents the automated workplace of the participant of process of the design-technology preparation of production (DTPP) providing access to funds of automation of works, to a pool of information resources and libraries which set is defined by the used 2D/3D systems - modeling and specialization of the carried-out tasks: 3D - modeling, engineering calculations, the analysis of technological effectiveness, electrotechnical design, development of IETR, machining, project management.

The automated workplace SWR supports joint work with the design and technology CAD and also packets of engineering calculations which are the most extended in the Russian market. A system is delivered with settings under the instruments of design used at the enterprise.

The automated workplace SWR allows to simplify setup and configuring of the software package including any structure a component and to provide the user with all necessary information and handbook data within the single interface.

Development History

2018

The beginning of deliveries the automated workplace SWR together with nanoCAD

On June 6, 2018 SWR group announced the beginning of deliveries of the Russian solutions automated workplace SWR for technology preparation of production together with nanoCAD - the domestic CAD platform containing all necessary instruments of basic design.

The concept of work developed by SWR Group in a flyby mode at a stage of technology preparation of production using ARM SWR of CCI allows to integrate specialists of the enterprise for work on one project and provides access to relevant digital model of a product.

The solution is completely compatible to the software SWR Technology (the Octopus of TP) for automation of release of technology documentation according to ESTD. At the same time Joint work of design-technology divisions happens under control of ARM SWR PLM and is based on uniform base of the normative reference information (NRI).

Using nanoCAD of the Mechanic there was an opportunity to make out operational sketches according to ESTD at a stage of technology preparation of production in the mode of seamless integration with ARM SWR of CCI. At the same time there is a putting of the technology sizes, designation of support, clips and installation devices, drawing of reference designations of instrumental adjustments, designation of the processed surfaces and the controlled sizes.

Updating of the module SWR Editor

On June 1, 2018 the SWR group announced module release of the update the SWR Editor of specifications 2018 SP1.0 as a part of the automated workplace SWR. The service pack is intended for work with SolidWorks 2018 and contains the following changes:

1. time of an execution of specifications by options A and B Is optimized during creation of the report on the basis of data on a product in SolidWorks Enterprise PDM.
2. the feature for automatic filling Is added Documentation undressed during creation of specifications by options A and B on the basis of the document of assembly SolidWorks.
3. the feature for an automatic output in the section Documentation of information on documents on not specified components taking into account sorting Is added according to GOST 2.106-96 of item 3.4, item 3.17.

Program of implementation CAD-PLM

The SWR group at the end of March, 2018 announced development of the program of implementation of the software package APM PLM for all participants of the design-technology preparation of production (DTPP) which allows the enterprises to reach works essentially other level. The policy assumes work on training in CAD systems in the course of deployment and implementation of PDM that correctly builds in specialists of design-technology departments information ecosystem of the enterprise. At the same time the combination of preproject inspection of design-technology divisions, preparation of a working environment and accomplishment of necessary settings, carrying out pilot projects on modeling of parts and assemblies among the automated workplace PLM allows the enterprise to reduce at once the general cycle of implementation of a software package, claim in SWR.

The provided program of implementation can serve as the base for carrying out further works on development of a system at the enterprise: pilot projects among developers of circuitry and electrotechnical products, setup of interaction of a complex with project management systems, creations of customized applications, inheritance of the existing data, integration with ERP/ MES- the systems of the customer, etc.

SWR Editor of specifications 2018 SP0.1

On February 28, 2018 the SWR group announced a release of the next version of the module the SWR Editor of specifications as a part of the software package APM SWR.

The SWR Editor of specifications creates the design specification, the table of connections, the cable schedule, the list of elements, the sheet of purchased products and many other things. Using this tool it is possible to autocomplete and make out text design documentation on the basis of data from PDM systems and also the systems of circuitry design. The tool provides sets of the forms issued according to ESKD and also allows to configure them taking into account requirements of the enterprise.

Supported operating systems: Windows 7 Windows 8.1 Windows 10

Version 2018 SP0.1 allows:

• Support work in SolidWorks Enterprise PDM (SWE-PDM) and in SolidWorks on three versions back: 2016, 2017, 2018.
• Select installation option: local or as a part of SWE-PDM.
• Reduce time of creation of reports of the specification by options A and B during the work with the components having a large number of configurations and also reduce time of report generation, the lines containing a large number.
• Turn off warnings of change of the report the third-party application when opening a report file.
• It is flexible to configure line folding of the parts made according to the specification, GOST, the industry standard, etc.
• Transfer the text first of all by words (on a space), then on delimiting characters (default setting).
• Not create the excess empty sheet when forming the sheet of purchased. Setup allows to set number of blank lines at the end of the document during creation or updating of a tape. It is applied to reports: Specification (Option A), Specification (Option B), Vedomosti purchased and Vedomosti of specifications.
• To automatically transfer names of the partition into the following sheet if the section gets for the end of the sheet and does not contain any record on the current sheet.
• Consider documents with multiple formats (for example, A3x4).

In the provided version the SWR Editor of specifications the Installation guide is also updated and templates of standard delivery are added (additional columns in accordance with GOST).

2017

Updating of the module SWR resources

On December 18, 2017 the SolidWorks Corporation company announced release of an update of the module of SWR resources as a part of APM SWR.

The module SWR resources is intended for the automated loading of the normative reference information (NRI) from external sources in a management system of ZhTsI of the enterprise.

SWR resources as a part of the software package automated workplace SWR helps:

• read the data used when developing design-technology documentation:
  • brands and ranges of materials,
  • auxiliary materials,
  • standard products,
  • ERIE,
  • regulating documents,
  • tool,
  • equipment, etc.

• create and update restrictive lists of the enterprise
• load data into SolidWorks Enterprise PDM from different sources in the presence at them the ODBC driver.
• work with data from SQL, Firebird, Excel, etc.
• enrich values of attributes of the restrictive list from several sources
• configure unloading of data as according to the schedule, and on demand
• synchronize reference books
• inherit reference books of the third-party or outdated systems
• inherit specifications

In this version:

• functionality is expanded,
• stability of operation of application is increased
• high-speed performance of a system is increased.

The module SWR resources works with files and objects of storage through API or directly with the database.

Updating of the module SWR Archive

The SolidWorks company announced on November 17, 2017 updating of the module SWR Archive as a part of the software package APM SWR.

The module SWR Archive allows to store and consider documentation according to the current requirements of the Russian standards — GOST 2.501, 2.503, automatically to register the documents coming to archive in the stock record book and also to connect all notifications on changes with changeable documents and to register in the book of registration of notifications.

SWR Archive allows to create automatically certifying sheets on the approved documentation kits according to requirements of GOST 2.051-2013 "Electronic documents". At the same time formation and check of checksums for files using which it is possible to identify unambiguously change of the document after his statement is executed.

The main changes in the updated module SWR Archive:

• The feature to work directly with originals of documents, i.e. to register documents (drawings and models) in a format of a different CAD, including SolidWorks is added.
• The functionality Image editor who simplifies carrying out changes in BTD is added, allowing to add or replace sheets the scan copies of the documents registered in the module SWR Archive, to change an order of single sheets and to sort sheets on the basis of all main formats of graphics images: TIFF, PDF, JPEG, BMP, PNG, GIF. The editor is intended for work with multipage files of the TIFF and PDF format
• The functionality "The master of creation of documents" for package creation of documents of the TIFF or PDF format with filling of medium maps of the relevant documents is added
• The functionality "Batch print of documents" for acceleration of printing of a documentation kit is finished
• The functionality Base of subscribers for information storage about internal and external subscribers is added: the name, phone, the fax, the address, the responsible person, etc. and if necessary to create the corresponding lists.
• The mechanism of creation of communications between documents is improved — allows to copy automatically necessary values between attributes of different documents (The Preliminary Notification (PN), the Notification on change (AI) — the Original/duplicate and so forth).

November updating

The SWR group announced on November 2, 2017 updating of the software package APM SWR 2017: the main changes concerned the application the SWR Editor of specifications.

The module the SWR Editor of specifications who is a part of a software package creates the design specification, the table of connections, the cable schedule, the list of elements, the sheet of purchased products and many other things. Autocompletes and makes out text design documentation on the basis of data from the different PDM systems and also the systems of circuitry design. Includes sets of the forms issued according to requirements of ESKD and also allows to configure them under requirements of the enterprise.

Main changes in upgraded version:

• In the SWR Editor of specifications the report template "List of the GOST 2.701-2008 Elements" which allows to create lists of elements on the different nesting levels of a product is added and to group components according to GOST 2.701-2008. As data sources for the report the file of assembly SolidWorks, structure of the product SWE-PDM, the SolidWorks Electrical project on the basis of one or several BOM files of ECAD systems in the Excel format can act. There is an opportunity to consider functional groups and devices and also to select an order of an output of components and devices from the report.
• The error of import of designation of the document for delivery to sheets of purchased products is corrected.
• Documentation is updated. To the user guide detailed descriptions of the added functions and settings are added to them.
