Service of obtaining mailings using the SMS is provided free of charge on the basis of the registration form filled in post office. Using service it is possible to receive the departures which are not requiring payment.
2019: More than 11 million Russians issued the simple EDS for obtaining mailings
On January 17, 2019 the Russian Post reported that more than 11 million Russians issued simple electronic the signature for receiving departures in departments of Russian Post without filling of paper notifications. Process of issue of departures using this technology takes no more than 30 seconds.
For January, 2019 in departments of Russian Post using this technology more than 70 million mailings were issued already. On average in a week the simple electronic signature is made out by about half a million Russians.
On the eve of New Year's holidays, during the period which is most saturated for mailers, every day using the simple electronic signature 4-5 million were issued on average
departures. Implementation of digital technologies allows us to reduce holding time of clients in departments of a mail service and in general to increase quality of our service. |
It is possible to issue the simple electronic signature free of charge on the official site of Russian Post or in post office.
Passport data and mobile phone number of the client are specified in the request. For confirmation of the personality the client will need to show to the operator the passport once.
If the client has a confirmed account on the portal of state services, then for receiving PEP it needs to come into appropriate section on the website of Russian Post and to click "Receive through Gosuslugi" then it is required to check or dozapolnit data and to accept the user agreement. After completion of process of an execution of the simple electronic signature the client will receive the SMS notification with confirmation of a possibility of its use. All personal data are transferred via secure channels only with the consent of the client who registers PEP of Russian Post.
After execution of the statement the client should not fill out paper notifications any more. When receiving sending the consumer will need to tell to the operator the name and a surname or tracking - the parcel number that the employee of department found it in base. After that the client calls the phone number to which the operator sends a confirmation code. To the receiver the Sms or Push the notification in mobile application of Russian Post with a confirmation code will come. The operator of post office needs to call it for a receipt of the letter or sending.
Registration takes only several minutes, but allows to reduce time of issue of mail by 5 times and to refuse need of filling of paper notifications and presentation of the identity certificate. At the same time neither the weight, nor the amount of the received sending matter.

Issue of departures using an account of state services
On October 3, 2018 Russian Post announced expansion of an opportunity for clients on connection of the simple electronic signature (SES). Now the citizens having the confirmed account on the Uniform portal of public services in which operation and development Rostelecom is engaged can register PEP far off on the website of Russian Post.
Implementation idle time of the electronic signature allows visitors of Russian Post to receive through the whole country sendings and the registered mail which is not requiring payment without presentation of the passport and notifications that considerably reduces time of issue of departures regardless of their type, weight and the size. For this purpose the consumer needs to call to the operator of the Full Name or tracking - the parcel number that the employee of department found it in the database. After that the client calls the phone number to which the operator sends a confirmation code in the form of the SMS message or the push-notification (users of mobile application of Russian Post). The operator of post office needs to call it for receiving departure.
In the course of registration on the Uniform portal of state services the client provides in a system personal data similar subjects which are used at execution of the simple electronic signature on the website of Russian Post or in postal telegraph offices – a full name and passport data. The confirmed account on the portal contains information necessary for user identification without the need for confirmation of his personality in departments of a mail service.

On August 7, 2018 the Russian Post reported that clients through the whole country can receive the sendings and the registered mail which are not requiring payment using the simple electronic signature now.

The client does not need to worry any more that he left at home the passport and cannot pace behind departure the road from work. He also does not need to spend time for filling of notifications any more. Monitored the departure in mobile application of Russian Post, received the push-notification on its receipt in department, came, showed the track number, called the code from the SMS or the push-notification in our mobile application and took away the departure. Start in Moscow
As it became known on February 5, 2018, in all departments of Russian Post in Moscow clients can receive the departures which are not requiring payment using the simple electronic signature now. As envisioned by the mail operator, it will allow to reduce terms of issue of mail by 5 times and to refuse need of filling of paper notifications.
Service is provided free of charge on the basis of the registration form filled in post office. Passport data and mobile phone number of the client are specified in it. By transfer of the statement to the operator to the consumer it is necessary to show the passport for confirmation of the personality. After single execution of this document the client should not fill out paper notifications any more. Now at receipt the Sms with a confirmation code which he will need to call to the operator of post office for receiving departure will come to department of the registered letter or sending to the receiver.
Service introduction idle time of the electronic signature will allow not only to reduce holding time of clients, but also to reduce operating expenses of the enterprise.

Clients of Russian Post can trace the mailings by the track number in the official application of the company. When the receiver learns that his sending is in post office, he can go there, without waiting for the paper notification in a mailbox and to show to the operator when receiving shaped the code from phone screen. The operator considers the scanner the track number and will issue to the client departure.
The users of services of a mail service preferring to receive mailings by a usual method will be able to use paper notifications still.
