According to "Infoline-Analitiki", revenue of the networks of public catering entering into Shokoladnitsa Group (without a catering) at the end of 2017 was reduced in comparison with previous year and made about 15 billion rubles excluding VAT that corresponds to about 3.5% of the Russian market in segments where[1] is provided[1].

History

2014: Preparation of the transaction about merger of Coffee House network

In July, 2014 it became known that the network of Shokoladnitsa coffee shops is close to purchase of Coffee House network, Kommersant with reference to sources in the market reports. According to the edition, the transaction is in a high stage of readiness, and after its end Shokoladnitsa will occupy the coffee shops working under a brand Coffee House[2].

Institutions Coffee House work not only in Moscow, but also in St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Kazan, Kiev and Donetsk. In total for July, 2014 within network 226 coffee shops work. By estimates of the CEO of "INFOLine-Analitika" Mikhail Burmistrov, the share Coffee House in the Moscow market of coffee shops (including area) makes 5%, in St. Petersburg - 8%.

Market capacity of coffee shops of Moscow and nearby areas of the Moscow region is in terms of money estimated at $2 billion. However the popularity of coffee shops decreases recently, by the end of the first quarter 2014 they were bypassed by not only fast food restaurants, but also sushi bars and pizzerias.

Analysts assume that a part of points Coffee House, close to the working cafes of Shokoladnitsa, can be reoriented on service of other brands. The owner of Shokoladnitsa Alexander Kolobov controls also network of Vabi-Sabi sushi cafes (about 30 in Moscow and regions) and Max Brenner chocolate bars and Burger King restaurants (more than 170 points in Russia) in partnership with VTB Capital is engaged Israeli.
