Croc constructed the system of smart video surveillance in the Sakhalin region

On March 22, 2018 it became known that the system of intellectual video surveillance thanks to which the staff of special services will be able to work terrorist threats earned from key objects of the Sakhalin transport infrastructure, to prevent emergencies and to receive additional materials for investigation of crimes. The project is implemented by Croc company within the corresponding government contract.

The first stage

Within the first stage of the project specialists Croc unrolled a video surveillance hardware and software system, installed in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk the airport and the situational center the server hardware and also implemented means of information security on the same objects and in managements of FSB and Regional Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs across the Sakhalin region. All of them are integrated by the protected network infrastructure.

In Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk to the airport of 12 cameras analyze the human flow passing through control boundaries, automatically create archive of the recognizable persons. The solution is developed on the basis of the recommendations of power services and departments, requirements of legislative regulations of the Russian Federation in the field of security on transport. A system allows to conduct a card file of the recognizable persons, to look for them in external bases of images or according to the video frame. At detection of the wanted person responsibles of law enforcement agencies receive notifications on the automated jobs. In a year thus about 3 million persons — the passengers who are seeing off of the staff of the airports passing through control points are processed.

By data Croc, a system identifies 98% of persons in a flow that became result of careful selection of points of the overview taking into account features of architecture and requirements to illumination during different seasons.

The second queue

In 2017 the second queue is implemented — the airports in the cities of Okha and Shakhtyorsk, Holmsky sea trade port, the railway station of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk are in addition equipped. All works were entered in the mode of objects to minimize inconveniences for passengers and not to prevent full-time job of security services.

It is not just about implementation of additional cameras and the software, and about uniform structure of security which integrates geographically distributed objects. In whatever part of the airport the criminal was detected, adequate notices will receive all security agencies — Oleg Maydansky, the head of the intelligent city systems Croc emphasized.

Solutions at the heart of the project

The main part of the solution was made by products of the Russian developers: Software of a system of video identification Vizier from "the Center of Speech Technologies", cryptogateways of Infotecs, antiviruses of Kaspersky Lab, the system of protection against unauthorized access from Code of Security. The hardware is organized based on the equipment of Huawei.
