2018: Start of the educational project

On May 22, 2018 the TERRA of THOSE company submitted the educational Atlas VR project – the platform for creation of virtual copies of historical, cultural and geographical objects of the real world. Use of this technology in training will significantly expand possibilities of school teachers of geography, biology and history, having improved digestion of material of lessons by school students, consider in the company.

Atlas VR is the platform for creation of the virtual world

According to the developer, the Atlas VR project represents the virtual world which completely copies real. The relief is recreated due to scanning of a surface, the high-detailed flora "is grown up" according to shooting with spacecrafts, and data on the atmosphere and weather are updated through the Internet in the online mode.

"Atlas VR can show all information from space pictures in the three-dimensional mode, using the digital copy of Earth as the authentic atlas of the real world. The virtual space allows to model not only objects, but also the difficult phenomena, events and processes. Also Atlas VR can be used for training in basics of life safety as allows to create models of natural disasters and technogenic accidents.

The "TERRA of THOSE" developed by specialists the platform can be used also for the purposes of creation of augmented reality at design, design of the environment and holding the presentations. For example, with its help it is possible to design and see the building, the bridge or any other large infrastructure facility, noted in the company.
