DataLine Hosting of the Microsoft SQL Server

For edition Enterprise failsafe placement with AlwaysOn clustering, is provided in editions Standard — the single StandAlone and AlwaysOn server (2 notes).

AlwaysOn:

• failover clustering (WSFC);
• up to 8 remarks of databases;
• two synchronous remarks of databases;

2016: Start

On August 2, 2016 the DataLine company announced CloudBase start, joint with Microsoft, - service on data management on the Microsoft SQL Server platform for the Russian market.

In virtual infrastructure of the customer on the platform of cloud solutions DataLine the selected virtual machines with the unrolled software of Microsoft SQL Server 2014 are created. Licenses are provided within the SPLA program for model of a subscription by means of which clients pay the Microsoft SQL Server resources in process of consumption.

Placement is possible according to two scenarios: Standalone with separately deployed database server and AlwaysOn with the backup copies of the server carried on the platforms DataLine.

The CloudBase service provides administration and technical support of information systems with the placed databases. DataLine is responsible for deployment of a system, setup and the subsequent support of SQL Server, executes migration of an information system of the customer from other platforms and versions of DBMS.

Technical specialists of the company administer the operating system, control performance of databases and availability of their copies, analyze size variation and politicians of backup configure.

Possibilities of CloudBase allow to place the high-loaded databases in a cloud, to create geographically distributed databases, to separate test and production environments, to configure enciphering of databases.
