On October 4, 2018 the CROC company announced creation for the geographically distributed divisions entering into PepsiCo company in Russia, the failsafe system of a corporate IP telephony, unified communications, a video conferencing, Wi-Fi-infrastructure was also unrolled.
PepsiCo was required a reliable basis – flexibly managed telecom infrastructure and modern IT services on its base which would allow the central office and regional divisions to work in a uniform communication field.
Within the project of CROC integrated the local systems of telephony into a single corporate network. It allowed IT service of the customer to manage on a centralized basis telecom infrastructure, and to colleagues to interact among themselves more quickly. Thanks to it the staff of PepsiCo uses a unified number plan with short five-digit number. To provide effective implementation of warehouse transactions, CROC unrolled Wi-Fi-infrastructure on production facilities of the company. For October, 2018 thanks to high-speed Wi-Fi more than 1500 employees of the central office PepsiCo in Moscow received online access to internal resources from the mobile devices.

To simplify management of local telephone exchanges and to optimize costs for service maintenance, CROC replaced the obsolete telecom equipment with modern from Avaya in a single system of a corporate IP telephony. For October, 2018 PepsiCo includes more than 100 geographically distributed platforms (offices, productions, warehouses, the plants), each of which had the separate telephone exchange earlier. Maintenance of such ICT infrastructure demanded from the customer of high operating costs. Earlier, to add additional number to network, IT specialists had to change manually settings in each telephone exchange. According to the results of the project this process is completely automated and takes several minutes.
Economy of the customer on purchase of licenses for regional offices and warehouses became advantage of the upgraded telecom platform. PepsiCo within a telephone central office uses a uniform pool of licenses which can be applied at registration of additional phone numbers on local platforms at any moment.
For IT service PepsiCo the digital platform became the communication basis allowing to scale flexibly telecom network. She allows to add quickly other production sites to uniform ICT infrastructure, to debug on network, to create or integrate IT services, for example, technical support of internal users.
PepsiCo the Wi-Fi-infrastructure unrolled by CROC will allow to automate work of production facilities. To provide a complete covering of warehouse platforms, the complex of works on radio inspection, design, implementation of a wireless network of data transmission was executed. Wireless data collection terminals, scanners of barcodes and RFID tags and the other equipment with which the personnel of the company work at warehouses were integrated into the system of an inventory control.
The most part of employees of the Moscow office PepsiCo work in space of open space from the mobile devices in a format of agile-commands. To provide the staff of the company with quick access to internal information resources (marketing data, CRM, document flow and so forth) from phones, tablets, notebooks, CROC unrolled high-speed Wi-Fi. Interaction is performed on internal communication channels — the IP telephony, e-mail, messengers.
In order that the staff of PepsiCo, including top management, could solve more quickly business challenges with colleagues from regions, CROC implemented the system of a video conferencing that allowed the customer to reduce costs on business trips.
