The medical center "Aymed" in Grozny is equipped with the innovative solutions of Cisco

On November 16, 2018 the Cisco company reported that in the medical center "Aymed" in Grozny which discovery is planned at the beginning of 2019 IT infrastructure on the basis of network and server solutions of Cisco and also solutions in the field of joint work and information security is constructed. The implemented system will help to accelerate process of rendering medical services, to expand possibilities of collecting and data processing, to minimize influence of "a human factor" on activity of medics. The project is implemented by the registered partner of Cisco in Russia Formula of the Security Guard company (FORSEC).

The IT infrastructure unrolled in Aymed helps to automate document flow, to effectively collect and process analytical data and also to provide online and secure access to any application. The implemented solutions of Cisco accompany the reduction of time necessary for record of the patient on acceptance, statements of the directions and maintaining medical records, etc. As a result treatment and prevention of diseases will proceed in a comfortable situation, it will be simpler to doctors to focus on effective interaction with patients, detailed studying of the anamnesis, dynamic observations and improvement of professional skills.

For creation IT infrastructures in Aymed almost all main architecture of Cisco are used: the equipment for switching, routing, wireless access, the solution for joint work, server solutions and products in the field of information security support. In network infrastructure Aymed are used access points Cisco Aironet 1852, controllers Cisco 5520 and high-speed switches Cisco Catalyst 9300/9500. Effective interaction of staff of the center is provided by means of Cisco Wireless IP Phone 8821 videophones. To increase safety personal data of patients, protected routers Cisco ISR4351- V/K9 and firewall Cisco Firepower series 2100 are applied.

In addition to creation of a corporate data network, in DPC of the medical center "Aymed" the Cisco UCS C-Series servers providing the high performance of the medical applications requiring big computing power were also installed.
