2019: Robomow RC312 Pro S with support of voice actuation of Amazon Alexa

On February 19, 2019 the Robomow company provided the Robomow RC312 Pro S robot lawn-mower with support of voice actuation of Amazon Alexa. According to the producer, the device allows to cut exactly a lawn on sections up to 2000 square meters, is equipped with the powerful brushless engine and the GPS module for more exact positioning.

As reported in Robomow, during 2019 the company will release a line of models, reacting to commands from the Amazon Echo device. In addition to inclusion and switching off, they will be able to execute some other commands: by means of the virtual assistant it is possible to ask the robot about when it last time cut a lawn where it is that does and when is going to cut a lawn next time.

For a bigger convenience during operation of the Alexa lawn-mower can read available commands. Besides the assistant can interfere with the current program of a hairstyle of a lawn, for example, to send Robomow home if on a visit to the owner of the lawn-mower of unexpected friends and relatives appeared suddenly. For this purpose it is necessary just to tell: "Alexa, tell Robomow to cease to mow a lawn!" By means of voice actuation the set program can be changed or used for other zones of a hairstyle of a lawn. If to send the lawn-mower to the base station, it will remain to a full charge there. Having reached 100% of level of charging, the robot will continue to cut a lawn according to the set program. For longer breaks the automatic hairstyle of a lawn can be deactivated by the corresponding command, explained in Robomow.

Features of the RC312 Pro S model

The model became a leader of a series of the Robomow RC lawn-mowers intended for sections of the average sizes (from 1 to 2 thousand square meters). According to the producer, devices of this series are distinguished by an opportunity for work on section borders: they cut even the grass growing in close proximity to house walls. The RC312 Pro S model cuts a grass from 15 to 60 centimeters high and copes with slopes the steepness up to 20 degrees. The robot weighs a little more than 11 kg and lithium-zhelezofosfatnym is equipped with the accumulator with a capacity of 3 ampere-hours.

The RC312 Pro S model is equipped with a reliable security system: if to raise the device, then the knife will automatically instantly stop. Facing an obstacle, the lawn-mower also stops a knife, and then changes the direction of the movement, emphasized in Robomow.

As reported in Robomow, earlier the company offered smart management by means of mobile application and the MyRobomow web application which can be installed on phone, the tablet or the computer. Thanks to the system of voice actuation Amazon Alexa, Robomow robots lawn-mowers are better integrated into the smart home systems, doing intellectual management it is easier.

Some Robomow models are offered with already built-in system of support of voice actuation of Alexa, and for others use of the RoboConnect+ add-on module is possible. He allows the robot to receive signals from Amazon Echo devices that the buyer of Robomow had a possibility of voice control over the home robot.
