Russian Post: Electronic assurance of receipt of letters

The electronic assurance of receipt is a digital analog of paper notifications. The service allows the sender to receive after delivery of the letter the scan copy of the form of the notification with indication of the one who, to whom and when delivered the mailing (with the personal signature of the receiver) in the section Tracking on the website pocha.ru.

2020: Increase in the list of types and categories of mailings, for which well electronic assurance of receipt

On January 9, 2020 the Russian Post company reported that it expanded functionality of service according to electronic assurances of receipt of the mailing. The service in providing mailings of the first class to the direction of electronic assurances of receipt implemented in 2019 received positive results and became demanded among clients. For quality improvement of digital services the Russian Post increased the list of types and categories of mailings for which now well electronic assurance of receipt.

According to the company, so, the sender can use this service when sending internal mailings, namely: postcards, letters and parcels post and also all types of sendings. The service is available to all types of mailings, except simple.

The electronic assurance of receipt is a convenient analog of paper notifications. Service allows the sender to download after delivery of departure from the official site of Mail the scan copy of the form of the notification with indication of whom to whom and when the mailing not later than in 3 days from the moment of delivery was delivered to his receiver. Within service the mailing should have the track number which is possible for tracing in official mobile application of the company or on the website www.pochta.ru.

For receiving service physical persons and legal entities do not need to fill out the separate form: it is enough to announce the operator of post office intention to use this service. The notification with the signature of the receiver will be stored within 6 months from the date of loading in a personal account on information resources of Mail.

The Russian Post implements the project on delivery and delivery of electronic notifications for mailings since the beginning of 2019. Thanks to service implementation millions of citizens irrespective of the location will be able quickly to receive confirmation on delivery of the letter sent by them, parcels post or sendings.

For January, 2020 service is available in all subjects of the Russian Federation (except the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol), nearly 30,000 clients already used this service.

2019: Start of services electronic assurance of receipt and delivery of correspondence on a call

On March 5, 2019 Russian Post reported that within transfer of traditional mail services to a digital format the national mail operator starts additional services – the electronic assurance of receipt and delivery of correspondence on a call. Russians through the whole country can use them.

For receiving service it is not required to fill out the separate form. To connect it, it is enough to specify the phone number on departure or an address label and to announce the operator intention to order an additional service.

The face of the electronic form contains all necessary details which are present at their paper analogs. We expect that the translation of assurances of receipt in a digital format will allow to increase quality of customer service and also to reduce loading on mail carriers which, in addition to delivery of letters, small packets and home service of receivers of pensions carry a significant amount of delivery receipts of departures.

The option "Delivery on a Call" will allow to make obtaining written correspondence by the addressee more comfortable. Delivery will be performed on preliminary coordination of time with the client, is closer to which to it the mail carrier will communicate. This option will raise a share of the departures handed by mail carriers and also will help to optimize a client flow in departments of a mail service. For March, 2019 services will be available to the order with letters and parcels post of the 1st class, however expansion of their use is planned for other services of Russian Post.
