As of November 2019, the iT-Oil automation system has been introduced and is actively used at more than 260 Gazprom Gas Motor Fuel facilities in more than 50 regions of Russia. The possibility of using RFID for automatic identification and refueling of vehicles has been implemented in the system for a long time and was used at ordinary gas stations. In the same project, for the first time in Russia, this technology was used for gas engine fuel. The developments and experience of iT-Oil made it possible to implement the solution quickly and efficiently.

RFID tags are mounted on the refueling blocks of buses, and reading devices are mounted on the dispensing cranes of gas distribution columns. When the devices approach each other, automatic identification and verification of the permitted gas limits for refueling on this vehicle takes place, and if there are available limits, fuel is discharged without the participation of the AGNKS operator. This solution allows you to serve customers faster and more efficiently, reduces the impact of the human factor and requires less resources for service. At the same time, there are fundamentally different opportunities for checking gas equipment and others.

In addition, a self-service terminal was put into operation, at which the client can independently perform all gas engine fuel refueling operations without the participation of the AGNKS operator. This service option allows the customer to reduce personnel costs and provide convenient service to AGNKS customers.

Implementation of automation system at 160 retail network facilities

On April 10, 2019, iT-Oil announced the successful completion of the project phase to automate the AGNKS network of Gazprom Gas Motor Fuel, within the framework of which large-scale research and design developments were carried out, and the iT-Oil system was introduced at more than 160 retail sales network facilities.

Earlier, the most important stage of this large-scale project was successfully completed: to replicate the system, support was implemented for the management of gas dispensing columns (GC) of previous generations used in part of the CNG. The peculiarity of this task was that at the time of its technical implementation, equipment manufacturers for the most part had already ceased their activities, and, accordingly, it was not possible to obtain any reliable technical information on the GRK. It took R&D on its own to develop a solution suitable for each specific type of equipment.

After the successful completion of R&D, the company's specialists quickly replicated the iT-Oil system at 150 CNGs in more than 50 regions of Russia. In parallel, at another 10 CNGs, the system was implemented within the framework of the Gazprom Gas Motor Fuel program for the development of the sales network and the construction of additional stations.

In total, as of April 2019, the iT-Oil system has been implemented and is fully used at more than 250 CNGs in 59 regions of Russia, and Gazprom Gas Motor Fuel corporate fuel cards and loyalty cards are accepted for 31 more CNGs.
