Sibur and Ericsson with assistance of NVision Group tested corporate network Private LTE

On June 5, 2019 it became known that NVision Group, the rossiyskiysistemny integrator entering into group of MTS, Ericsson, solution provider in the field of information and communication technologies and the Sibur group, the Russian petrochemical company, announced a successful completion of testing of a corporate data network and convergent services based on the concept of Private LTE.

During pilot tests the Southern Balyksky gas processing plant (Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug) and Tomskneftekhim (Tomsk region) of the Sibur group were connected to a mobile network of broad-band data transmission. After end of tests the Private LTE network is completely ready to start in commercial operation.

Private LTE networks provide a possibility of implementation of a broad spectrum of services on socially important and industrial facilities with increased requirements to security and reliability. The private network on the basis of LTE technology guarantees integrity, noise immunity and safety of data transmission against IoT-sensors, M2M-applications or other elements of IT infrastructure of the enterprise, allows to integrate ecosystem elements in the uniform closed circuit of the company. Traffic in corporate network is completely protected from influence of commercial networks, the full integration with earlier set IT infrastructure elements is possible.

Within the project Sibur and NVision Group unrolled based on technologies of Ericsson the MC-PTT system (Mission Critical Push To Talk) for instant communication in case of emergency, automation of business challenges, control of external devices and policy of providing access to different resources of the enterprise.

All solutions of Ericsson conform to the leading international standards and passed tests in the different countries of the world. Sibur plays an important role in the Russian economy, and we are glad to offer the global experience and examination for automation of the Russian industry according to tasks of the national program 'Digital Economy'. Within this project Ericsson transfers technology examination to the Russian system integrator "NVision Group". Digital transformation in Sibur develops in several directions, including analytics for forecast hardware maintenance and the solution of business challenges, implementation of mobile applications, hardware-software solutions of industrial Internet of Things, augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR) and also robotization of the enterprises. Among all LTE technologies has the huge technical advantages allowing us to create at the enterprise a convergent wireless network of data transmission both for the IT basic services and to the digital products implemented at the enterprise. Not so long ago we in cooperation with Ericsson and Sibur were engaged in a perspective subject of creation of corporate networks, and submitted in Russia the world-class commercial platform based on Private LTE. In February, 2019 NVision Group and Ericsson signed the agreement on the beginning of activities for creation in Russia of corporate networks Private LTE. The agreement provides joint work of NVision Group and Ericsson in the field of studying of requirements of customers for creation of such networks, joint preparation and creation of the test zone Private LTE on the technology platform of NVision Group, start in commercial operation of corporate data networks on the basis of LTE and, in the long term,^[1] for technologies 5G].
