2020: Start of service of customs clearance of a car
At the end of January, 2020 the Public customs service of Ukraine started the service allowing to obtain customs clearance for the cars imported from abroad on the Internet. Such opportunity is available on the website "Single window" in the new section under the name "Import of the Car".
To use new service, the Ukrainian needs to enter a personal account. There it is possible to create the declaration (preliminary or the main) then there will be an opportunity to trace its current status.
Before or along with submission of the preliminary customs declaration it is necessary to deposit to account the relevant customs authority monetary pledge in the amount of customs payments. They will be subject to payment at placement of the car in the mode of free use i.e. if the person pays a customs fee, its car on the European numbers is freely passed on the territory of Ukraine. Otherwise to it the failure card in a digital form is written out.
On the website it is possible to receive notifications at a design and to receive the issued customs declaration. If not to register the declaration during the day, it will need to be perepodavat.
Thanks to the service started by the Public customs service of Ukraine, owners of machines will be able independently to declare them, having saved on customs brokers.
By the end of January, 2020 in Ukraine the bill under which all taxes for a customs clearance of "eurometal plates" (used cars with the European number) will make in general 35% of car cost prepares for acceptance.
In December, 2019 the Verkhovna Rada prolonged a grace period for customs clearance of a car on euronumbers till December 31, 2019. And the Public customs service started the calculator of customs payments for customs clearances of "eurometal plates".[1]
