2020: Project completion on implementation of a subsystem of support of process of annual personel assessment
On February 10, 2020 the Softline company announced project completion on implementation of a subsystem of support of process of annual personel assessment at the Nissan plant. She will allow to carry out development planning and assessment of professional employee competences in the automated mode. The subsystem is developed based on the portal solution on the Microsoft SharePoint 2013 platform implemented earlier with the assistance of Softline company and located in a cloud of Softline.
According to the company, one of the important directions of increase in efficiency of business processes in the company is work with personnel. At the time of the beginning of the project, at the Nissan plant process of evaluating personnel and obtaining the general report with final estimates on employees was carried out in the manual mode - the file in the MS Excel format was filled, came down and approved with all participants, then was printed and signed then the analytics of data retrieveds was carried out. Such process was too labor-consuming and energy-intensive for HR specialists, heads and employees. As a result, the plant's management of Nissan made the decision to automate the existing process. As the partner the Softline company having big examination in the field of business process automation implementing solutions was selected.
At the initial stage of the project, experts of Softline booked careful audit of the processes of assessment existing at the customer, created and approved models of design and a form of the reporting then started development of a subsystem of automation. On the basis of the booked audit, offered Softline a system concept which entirely satisfied needs of the customer and corresponded to the budget. The purpose of such subsystem is: quality improvement and availability of the existing process of carrying out estimates within a year for the staff of the company; decrease in labor input and increase in efficiency of processing of results of the carried-out assessment; automatic tracking of process of filling of the form of assessment in half a year, year.
The subsystem of support of process of annual personel assessment was developed based on the portal solution on the Microsoft SharePoint 2013 platform implemented earlier with the assistance of Softline company and located in a cloud of Softline. Thanks to successful integration of a subsystem into already existing solution, processes remained intuitive for users and did not require accustoming as a system was implemented as a part of the portal already familiar to them.
As a result of implementation of this project the customer received full control over process of annual personel assessment. The system created by Softline allowed to automate completely all process consisting of three stages: settings of assessment at the beginning of financial year, intermediate results in the middle and final in the end of the year. Full automation of process allowed to exclude an error probability in assessment and incorrect filling of data with employees. At the same time the staff of HR got an information access which gathers in the automated mode and also an opportunity on any process step to obtain these data in the Excel format, including far off.
Our purpose was to implement the project so that already in the middle of intermediate assessment of 2020 we could on a test command estimate results of implementation and understand what is not enough for a system even before its start. Thanks to the solution implemented by Softline, the Nissan plant it was succeeded to reduce time of summing up the carried-out personel assessment and also to lower labor costs on its administration. We cooperate with Softline company not the first year. Using the solution implemented by them we could automate key process in work with personnel – efficiency evaluation.
