2020: Opening of the first shop without cash desks and sellers in Moscow
Sberbank, retail network "Alphabet of Taste" and international payment system of Visa opened the shop equipped with the system of computer vision in Russia. On May 20, 2020 TAdviser was reported about it by representatives of Sberbank.
To use service, the buyer needs to download mobile application Take&Go from Sberbank and to be registered in it, having linked to the account the bank card for payment of purchases and email to which checks will come.
For shopping in such shop it is enough on an input in the zone Take&Go to scan the QR code from mobile application from Sberbank, to take the necessary goods from shelves and just to leave: money will be charged from the card automatically. For May, 2020 the technology is piloted behind closed doors on a limited number of clients in Alphabet of Taste shop which is in the Moscow City business center (a tower Federation, Presnenskaya Embankment, 12), but within a month will be available to everyone.
Service begins to work as soon as the scanner of a tourniquet reads out the QR code of the client on an input in the zone Take&Go. The intelligent system of observation continuously keeps track of quantity and the range of goods on shelves unmistakably to collect products which were selected by the buyer in a virtual basket. If the person took a product, but changed the mind and returned it into place — the goods will be right there deleted from a virtual basket.
As soon as the client leaves shop, mobile application Take&Go Sberbank automatically performs write-off. After payment passing the buyer receives the push-notification on phone and the check by e-mail.
As a result — lack of queues, cashiers and cash desks of self-service, and consequently — saving of time for visitors and staff costs for shop.
Together with partners we start the innovative technology which will cardinally change client experience in offline - trade and, I think, in the short term, will be able to become a widespread method of shopping in supermarkets to which we will get used as quickly as, in due time, to cashless payment, |
