The situation when, coming to do shopping to shop, we spend a considerable part of time for standing in queues at the checkout is known to much of us. And most often purchases are made after the difficult, tiresome working day when there is desire only quicker to arrive home. Or it is necessary to spend time in queues in the day off instead of carrying out it with family. And how many times you left shop, seeing frightening queue to cash desk?
In February, 2020 the Bizerba company presented to general public a new solution for the clients in a Retail segment. A contactless system for SuperSmart shopping became this solution.
SuperSmart is the complex consisting of the equipment and specially software which as much as possible will allow to simplify shopping and will save huge amount of your time and forces.
The equipment is provided in two options: for carts and baskets.
For quite some time now in shops through the whole country such systems as Scan&Go which allow to scan independently selected goods and, having added it to cart began to be implemented, to pay at the checkout of self-service. Conveniently it? Of course! It reduced queues to normal cash desks, and simplified purchase process.
However this system does not allow us to automate all process completely. And in the light of the latest events connected with the pandemic which burst worldwide also there is a question: how to protect itself and to minimize all contacts especially with things of mass use and with the people surrounding us, having saved that distance which will allow not to worry about the health? In this case we can trust completely only those things which are always with us, for example, to personal phone.
SuperSmart first of all is software which we can install on the phone and using it already to make purchases. We do not need to take the special device on an input in shop any more, it is not necessary to fill out questionnaires or other papers for obtaining the personal map of the buyer which is necessary for activation of the Scan&Go scanner. We need only to install the application and to be registered in it that can be made in advance, before visit of shop. And further we take the cart or a basket for purchases and, having scanned the QR code on it, we begin process of purchases.
Now for payment we do not need to spread goods on a cash tape or on a regiment before cash desk of self-service. And there are no times such need, we can lay all goods accurately on packets at once, thereby without spending time for it after purchase commission. Pretty cool, huh? But how so occurs? Let's consider process.
Having come into shop, we start the application on our phone. Having selected "container", convenient for us, for purchases, whether it be a basket or the cart, first of all we scan the QR code which contains information in what we shop now.
Then we straight go to a trading floor and we begin to select goods, scanning phone their barcode and putting as it will be convenient to us to itself in a basket. Having gathered all goods which were going to be purchased, we go to a cash line to make purchase payment.
Here also the main difference between already familiar to us Scan&Go and Supersmart is shown. Having driven our cart into a payment zone (or having installed a basket on the device), a system on the basis of a set of data and internal algorithms itself will recognize all goods therefore there is no need to spread them. Accuracy of recognition is 9x %
Having compared goods to the list which was created at you in the application, one of the following actions will follow:
1) If the list and the actual filling of goods matches, then the offer on payment will arrive. In case of contactless payment it can be done a one click of the button on the screen of your smartphone.
2) If the list and the actual filling suddenly do not match, then a system will show what goods was not scanned or scanned once again. Further the offer to exclude it or to add will arrive. Then it will be possible to pay purchases.
All payment process takes read seconds. And at enough devices this complex completely can eradicate such phenomenon as "queue at the checkout", having made purchases by more comfortable.
With the SuperSmart system process of purchases becomes the simplest and convenient, allowing to save personal time. And an opportunity to use only the phone as the tool for shopping, will allow to increase protection of your health, having reduced the risks connected about use of both things of mass use, and cash – one of the main sources of spread of diseases.
