2020: Availability of the order of SIM cards through Wildberries
Tele2 announced on July 20, 2020 start distributions SIM- cards in Russian online retailer Wildberries. The project started with sales in To Moscow St. Petersburg, Krasnodar and Yekaterinburg.
During a pandemic of Tele2 it was focused on development of digital channels of connection of clients. In the Moscow region the number of orders of SIM cards with delivery on the website of the operator grew by 30% year-on-year and for 80% in comparison with the dokarantinny period – the beginning of March, 2020. With an exit to online platform Tele2 expands presence at digital channels of distribution and provides connections. Purchasing the smartphone or the tablet on Wildberries, the client can select one of Tele2 rates at once.
Weekly other regions join the project, and already by the end of July, 2020 sets for connection to Tele2 will appear on the online retailer's platform across all Russia. It is possible to activate the SIM card independently using mobile application "my Tele2".

In the conditions of a pandemic we relied on development of online sales channels: the output of connections to Wildberries is caused by the fact that here the client can order at the same time goods from different categories, and telecom products should not be an exception. We are ready to be present everywhere where it is convenient to client to buy. According to us, sales on the online platform guarantee high-quality connections as the client often adds the SIM card to cart in a set with the smartphone. At the same time clients got used to an opportunity to receive cards here and now therefore we with the partner had to organize the fastest delivery. Tele2 debugged logistic processes so that to meet customer expectations and to guarantee high quality of service. |
