2020: Testing of technology of impact assessment of outdoor advertizing for installations of mobile applications

On August 20, 2020 Mail.ru Group announced start of technology which calculates efficiency of promotion of mobile applications using outdoor advertizing. Now advertisers will be able to learn in real time how many users installed the application after saw advertizing offline — on digital mediums. Read more here.

The tool was already tested by a command of service of declarations Spinning top. In June advertizing of the Spinning tops application was started on digital billboards of Gallery in Moscow and St. Petersburg. The average cost of installation on iOS and Android based on a campaign was comparable about myTarget performance formats for promotion of mobile applications.

Results of the test confirmed that Digital outdoor advertizing is suitable for effective involvement of users in Internet services. This technology is especially useful to projects which work both offline, and online. Also Digital outdoor advertizing can be used for complex promotion of mobile applications together with other tools — for example, a remarketing.
