2020: Ricoh purchased MTI Technology
On October 7, 2020 it became known of what the Ricoh company purchased IT service provider of MTI Technology. Thanks to this transaction the Japanese producer expects to expand the opportunities in the field of IT across the whole Europe.
MTI from Godalminga (England) will continue to work under own trademark within the European division of Ricoh. The CEO of MTI Scott Heddou noted:

MTI traditionally was a supplier of IT infrastructure, but in recent years activity of the company extended, having covered area of cyber security.
In April, 2020 Heddou said that 2020 financial year for the company was most profitable year for all history of existence thanks to investments into cyber security and public sector of Great Britain.
MTI also has representations in Germany and France in which there were "significant changes in the management" recently.
Ricoh emphasized that development of MTI in the field of cyber security, work with data processing centers and also in the field of "managed services" represents special importance for the transaction. The company added that clients of MTI will receive benefit from global presence of Ricoh. The transaction between the companies does not assume changes in the management of MTI.
