2020: Installation of a thermovision system for contactless check of temperature of all entering employees and visitors

On October 27, 2020 it became known of what in the summer of 2020 the management of private Russian investment company O1 Properties, the owner of business center "Krugozor" in Moscow, made the decision on installation of a thermovision system for fast and contactless check of temperature of all entering employees and visitors. Technology support in it to them was given by Hikvision company, having provided as the solution a metaldetector frame with the built-in ISD-SMG318LT-F thermal imaging camera. Specialists of Safe Logic Group undertook project implementation.

As it was explained, the system installed by Hikvision company allows a security service of business center to find dangerous objects at entering on the territory of an object and also to quickly identify people with the increased temperature. The thermal imaging camera which is built in a metaldetector frame is capable to take temperature at distance to 3 meters to within ± 0.5 °C less than in 1 second. When exceeding of the set temperature threshold the sound signal of alarm works and the stroboscope which draws attention as tested, and the security guard joins. In this case the person is offered to undergo additional temperature control using the medical equipment or to pass on medical examination.

The camera is equipped with two lenses – thermovision and optical. Using the second the exact video analytics of the image using algorithms of deep learning is made. It provides exact detection of persons of people in a frame, allows the camera to classify objects and not to react to irrelevant sources of alarms (for example, hot drinks in hands, heated surfaces, the equipment, etc.). After the fiber unit detects in a frame of the person, thermovision takes temperature in "control point" on a forehead of the person. Settings of the camera also allow to carry out control of observance of the mask mode in the territory of business center. In a case lack of a protective mask on a human face the alarm will also work.

Use of the thermal systems is not only a fast, but also safe method of identification of possible symptoms of viral diseases which are shown in the form of the increased temperature. Thermal imaging cameras and modules which the Hikvision company uses in the solutions scan the IK-radiation which source is the person, and issues results on the basis of the analysis of data retrieveds. It is also safe method and for security guards as all procedure is carried out without contact and remotely. The operator of a system only monitors indicators on the monitor and reacts in case of identification of problems. For business centers and other objects where on an input it is required to carry out an inspection of a large number of people, similar solutions are really necessary as they cope with the task not only with a necessary accuracy, but also less than in 1 second. Using a metaldetector frame the task of ensuring anti-terrorist security of business center is also closed. The ISD-SMG318LT-F model set in business center "Krugozor" detects metal objects, including especially small, at the same time it is most possible to scan up to 18 areas on a body of the person. At detection of a suspicious subject sense lights on a frame from that party and at that level where metal was recorded will work. Using flexible configurations the user can install systems necessary response threshold of the metaldetector that the frame did not react to such objects as rings, hours, buckles. The advanced scanning method allows to record objects as a part of which more than 150 grams of copper, aluminum or zinc. For different zones it is possible to set different indicators of sensitivity.

Installation and commissioning was performed by the certified specialists of Safe Logic company according to all recommendations and instructions of Hikvision company for work with the thermal systems. After installation of a frame of the metaldetector the staff of administration of business center and security service completed a short course of training in operation of the equipment, the principle of system operation is explained and the full range of its opportunities is provided. Specialists of Safe Logic also carried out test pass of the person with simulation of the increased temperature (a glass with hot water at a forehead) to show work of a sound signal of alarm and a stroboscope.
