2020: Agreement on digital transformation of the region

The government of the Yaroslavl region and the Rostec State Corporation on December 2, 2020 announced the signing of an agreement on the digital transformation of the region. According to the agreements, Rostec will conduct an expert assessment of the level of the information and technology ecosystem of the region, help determine key promising areas of development and assist in the most accurate setting of the task.

As a result of the project, advanced digital services and services for citizens in the field of health care, education, housing and communal services, transport and others will appear in the Yaroslavl region. Cooperation involves the use of Rostec.digital tools - Rostec's direction, designed to carry out digital transformation in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation and certain sectors of the economy.

"Public services are increasingly being provided electronically. This form is convenient for residents, because it avoids unnecessary trips and queues, and in a pandemic it also provides security. The more digital services there will be, the easier and faster the feedback with the population becomes. Rostec has developed methods for creating customer-oriented electronic platforms, the corporation is ready to provide us with its expert assistance. According to data for December 2020, the Yaroslavl region is one of the top 20 regions according to the rating of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation by the value of the consolidated index of digital development of the regions. More than 600 IT companies are registered in the region, where almost 8,000 people work.
