History

2021: A project startup for children with limited opportunities and left without parents

The school of programming for children of Coddy with assistance of Acer company started the educational project for children with limited opportunities of health and the children who were left without parents. It became known on January 20, 2021.

Children from 7 to 18 years from all Russia can take part in the program. The school issues grants on free training to programming, design, cyber security, entrepreneurship bases and also different "soft" skills like financial literacy or oratorical skill. In total in a line of school for January, 2021 76 most demanded digital directions rates therefore organizers are sure that each child will find to himself work to liking are provided.

Training takes three months. During this time the participant of the program will master basic knowledge in a subject that further it is free to be engaged independently. It is possible to study internally — on one of nearly 400 platforms of school in Moscow and other regions — or online. The Acer company provided notebooks to those children who because of frequent inspections and rehabilitations need the portable equipment.

Programming and other digital skills in which we train children have one very important advantage. All of them are available in a remote format. Not important — in Uryupinsk you or in Moscow, in the big city or a small mudflow, move on a carriage or on own legs — you can become the best of the best, new Bill Gates. We want to help — to live and succeed to children who are deprived of the main — good health or the loving parents as equals with those who in this life were lucky more — Oksana Selendeeva, the founder of Coddy school says.

The important idea of the program — occupation as equals. Training takes place in groups, together with other pupils. The program is not changed under the "special" child: he studies a rate on an equal basis with the others, gains 100% of knowledge without restrictions. The teacher can only pay him a little more attention, is more often communicate with his parents and more actively help with homework.

The quantity of grants in each region is limited, they are selected on a competitive basis.

The first owners of grants for January, 2021 already started training in Coddy.
