2022: The launch of Consid.WMS at the distribution center in Volgograd

Consid, a Russian developer and integrator of professional IT systems for warehouse management, announced on November 9, 2022 the launch of the Consid.WMS warehouse management system at the opened distribution center of the Pobeda regional trading network in Volgograd.

In 2020-2021, Consid carried out comprehensive automation of network distribution centers in Ulyanovsk, Voronezh and Krasnodar. The next object of automation was a distribution center in Volgograd with an area of ​ ​ 10,000 square meters, which opened in October 2022 and serves more than 150 chain stores in Volgograd, Saratov and Rostov regions.

Within the framework of the project, business processes are automated in all storage areas, in each of which, thanks to the flexibility of Consid.WMS, specific requirements for working with the product, including areas of labeled products, are implemented. Integration with the Honest Sign, EGAIS and Mercury marking systems was carried out. The efficiency of loading vehicles delivering to network stores has reached a different level, thanks to the automatic distribution of tasks for the formation of cargo carriers, the ability to accurately calculate the filling of vehicles and their re-loading with containers of different types and sizes, as well as integration with the TMS system. When consolidating orders, the formed cargo carriers are monitored by weight, and the collected orders are checked only if the weight does not match the calculated system. This significantly reduces the labor costs of the warehouse personnel and reduces the assembly time of orders.

The grouping of orders into routes is carried out in Consid.WMS, taking into account the type and priority of the order and the shipping time. Movement to the gate and shipment is carried out in the system according to flights with control of seals and readiness of cargo carriers for shipment.

The project was implemented and put into operation within 1 month using the remote implementation method, technical support of the solution is carried out. The volume of deliveries is 33 licenses for data collection terminals and 20 licenses for a web application.

2021

The launch of Consid.WMS at the distribution center in Krasnodar

On November 15, 2021, Consid launched into commercial operation the Consid.WMS warehouse management system at the distribution center of the Pobeda regional trading network in Krasnodar. This is the second DC of the network, automated using Consid.WMS.

The distribution center will serve several regions of the Southern Federal District Russia -, and Krasnodar Territory, Rostovskaya , Astrakhan region Stavropol Territory Adygea, Kalmykia Kabardino-Balkaria, Karachay-Cherkessia, Ingushetia, Dagestan and North Ossetia.

As part of the project, at the first stage, complete automation of warehouse areas for storing groceries, fruits and vegetables, beer was carried out, taking into account the specific requirements for processing goods in each zone. The system works equally effectively both with a piece product with a fixed weight and with a weight product using the technology of calculating the average weight. The next stage was the configuration of management of frozen, alcoholic beverages and other groups of goods requiring labeling, and integration with the Honest Sign, EGAIS and Mercury systems.

Consid.WMS allows you to select orders, automatically distributing tasks for the formation of cargo carriers for various types of containers (thermal boxes, rolls, pallets, stands). In this case, the system monitors the occupancy of cargo carriers and, if necessary, forms tasks for their merger. This provides almost 100% funding and transport cost savings logistic. Seamless integration with TMS the -system provides exchange: data calculation of the number of cargo carriers for different types of containers is unloaded from WMS to TMS, from which, in turn, formed flights are returned. Grouping of orders into routes is carried out taking into account the type and priority of the order and the time of shipment, and movements to the gate and shipment are carried out according to flights with control of seals and readiness of cargo carriers of the flight for shipment.

The project was implemented and put into operation within 1 month using the remote implementation method in compliance with all quality standards of the Consid implementation methodology. The volume of deliveries is 61 licenses for data collection terminals and 10 licenses for a web application.

Automation of the distribution center in Voronezh

On March 29, 2021, ConsID, a Russian developer and integrator of professional IT systems for warehouse management, announced the completion of comprehensive automation of the distribution center of the Pobeda regional trading network. Within the framework of the project, the ConsID WMS warehouse management system, the ConsID Yard yard management system were implemented, integration with the Honest Sign and the TMS system was carried out.

According to the company, the ConsID WMS system automates the processes of working with goods in various areas of the warehouse (groceries, fruits and vegetables, beer), taking into account the specific requirements for storing and processing goods in each zone. The solution works equally effectively both with a piece product with a fixed weight (grocery area) and with a weight product (frozen and fruit and vegetable areas) using medium weight technology. In areas where goods requiring labeling, including frozen products and alcohol, are stored, when introducing the system, all requirements for the exchange of information with the state marking system "Honest Sign" and EGAIS are implemented.

ConsID WMS implements intelligent management of the order selection process with the distribution of tasks for filling cargo carriers of different types (thermal boxes, rolls, pallets, stands) and the merger of unfilled containers. This allows you to increase the speed of collection of orders and optimize the filling of transport funds with accuracy. At the same time, the system controls the weight of filled containers and issues tasks for checking orders when the weight differs from the calculated one, which reduces the time for checking and repacking orders.

The WMS ConsID is integrated with the TMS. Calculation of the number of loads of different types from WMS is automatically unloaded to TMS, in which flights are formed. The grouping of orders into routes takes into account the type and priority of the order and the shipping time. Information on flights is transmitted to the WMS, which forms tasks for movement to the gate and shipment with control of seals and readiness of cargo carriers of the flight for shipment.

As part of the project, the warehouse management module ConsID YMS was also put into operation. The module performs preliminary calculation of time windows of arrival of vehicles of goods suppliers and vehicles for shipment to stores of the network. ConsID.YMS controls the passage of transport through all checkpoints of the yard: entering the territory of the distribution center, obtaining a pass, submitting/receiving documents, placing for loading/loading, completing work - freeing the gate, leaving the territory, closing the pass. All this makes it possible to ensure the proper intensity of acceptance and shipment of goods, timely delivery of goods to chain stores.

The project was implemented and put into operation within 3 months using the remote implementation method in compliance with all quality standards of the implementation methodology.
