The Russian developer program obespecheniyared SOFTWARE and the Udmurt state university (UdGU) within the cooperation agreement in common develop process of digitalization of the region.

At the end of September, UdSU became a participant in the Priority 2030 program of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia with the strategic project for the development of the region "Creation of the Center for Smart Competencies of the Digital Transformation of the Udmurt Republic." Within the framework of the project, it is planned, among other things, to create a competence center for the introduction of domestic software in the state and municipal sectors, as well as a training ground for testing and implementing solutions using domestic software.

RED SOFT provided the university with the operating system of RED OS for the implementation of these areas. Under the control of domestic software, computer equipment is now operating, on which future graduates and the personnel "backbone" of the digital economy of the region are trained.

Import substitution in the walls of the university is necessary for the digital transformation of the Udmurt Republic. Digitalization implies the transition and use of domestic information and communication technologies in state authorities. The opening of a competence center and a training ground based on the operating system of the RED OS will allow students to adapt to the transition to domestic software and gain the skills necessary to ensure information security and technological sovereignty of the country, considers the Rector of UdSU Galina Merzlyakova.

Earlier, RED SOFT has already authorized a training center on the basis of the university under the programs "Fundamentals of work in RED OS" and "Fundamentals of Administration of RED OS." As of October 2021, students of the Institute of Law, Social Management and Security of UdSU use the domestic operating system.

Implementation of programs aimed at digital transformation of the Russian economy is an important activity of RED SOFT. We are working on many strategic and long-term projects of the state level, the implementation of which requires strong specialists. Together with UdSU ED SOFT gradually contributes both to the development of the personnel potential of the Russian IT industry and to the popularization of domestic information technologies in the country, commented Rustamov Rustam, Deputy General Director of RED SOFT.

Agreement on Academic and Scientific and Technical Cooperation

Udmurt State University and Red Soft have entered into an agreement on academic and scientific and technical cooperation. This was reported on May 24, 2021 in Red Soft.

To ensure the work of the computer class of the Department of Information Security, the university will be transferred to the Russian operating system Red OS. Students will have the opportunity to study and actively use Red OS for the educational process.

Red OS is a Russian Linux operating system for servers and workstations, providing a universal environment for the use of application software. The product is certified by the FSTEC of Russia (No. 4060 of 12.01.2019), which confirms its compliance with information security requirements and allows its use in state information systems. Red OS is registered in the Unified Register of Russian Programs for Computers and Databases of the Ministry of Communications of Russia (No. 3751).
