According to the company, Milty is gaining popularity thanks to the concept of combining work in the format of self-service stations and classic retail outlets of ready-made meals for healthy eating. The Milty self-service terminal is a machine that is installed in office centers and designed for use by employees of a particular company.

Milty self-service stations required a program that meets the requirements of:

  • a clear interface for making a purchase without the participation of the cashier;
  • uninterrupted operation;
  • rapid exchange of information with the central base.

The task of developing and implementing this system is assigned to the 1C-Rarus project team. As a basis, the front-office solution of RestArt was taken.

Project Results:

  • A convenient and understandable interface has been created. Milty stations operate without the participation of a cashier. The refrigerator of the device allows you to freely take any dish. It is essential to create an interface that is so clear that the customer has no questions about what action to take next. The task is implemented as follows: as soon as the buyer took and brought the goods to the barcode reader, the name of the dish and the price appear at the top of the screen, and in the bottom - the cost and the following options for further actions. Clicking the Pay button re-displays the amount and prompts you to attach a credit card, watch, or other payment device to the terminal. The purchase is completed, as a rule, there are no problems and questions.
  • A mechanism for online reporting of critical errors has been implemented. A special online error tracking system has been created. Information goes to Milty Support and employees quickly fix the problem.
  • Sales information is available. RestArt operates on the principle of automatic closing of the shift, after which information about implementations is sent to the Milty information base, where the necessary profit reports, popular positions, revenue, etc. are formed. Operational and reliable analytics of the company helps to manage the business.
  • The station assortment replenishment planning has started. For timely replenishment and planning of food inventory, each device has developed a function of sending sales checks to Milty's cloud analytics system. Based on the online sales data, the following deliveries of dishes are planned for a particular station.
  • A single information space is organized. The central accounting system records internal information about the preparation of dishes: for example, the recipe, the receipt of ingredients in the warehouse, the work on distributing the finished products to points. Reports are generated on the food, profit and operation of each particular store or self-service terminal, and then accounting documents are transferred to the accounting program.

The digital solution created during the project based on RestArt is also used in 400 classic outlets. Such retail stores operate thanks to cashiers who sell dishes and accept payment.

Initially, self-service stations worked differently, and a system where the user would independently scan dishes and pay without involving a cashier simply did not exist. 1C-Rarus employees have created a technology for working for our project.
