The company "Smart Line Ink," the Russian developer of the DeviceLock DLP software complex designed to prevent and monitor data leaks, on July 5, 2017 announced the receipt of a license from the Federal Service for Technical and Export Control for the development and production of confidential information protection tools.

The FSTEC license is a confirmation of compliance of the company with all requirements in the field of information security that the federal executive body of Russia presents to developers of means of protecting confidential information. According to the license received, "Smart Line Ink" specialists have the right to manufacture and develop software (software and hardware) tools for monitoring the security of information, as well as for its protection and processing. The license was granted on the basis of the order of the FSTEC of Russia No. 282-l dated May 30, 2017 and does not have a validity period.

DeviceLock - For more than 20 years we have been developing DeviceLock DLP without the need to obtain such a license. The DeviceLock DLP complex itself has been repeatedly certified by the FSTEC. However, due to the spread of DeviceLock in Russia, including among public sector organizations, and requirements for ensuring import substitution, the requirement to obtain a FSTEC license has become relevant for us.
